Starting May 1, 2007, the UK Government will kick-stat the IGS (International Graduate Scheme) which allows non-EEA citizens which have a UK degree (BSC, MSC, PGD, Certificates etc) in any discipline to work for 12 months after they finish their programme , in order to gain work experience.

If any one is in the UK in this forum and has a good understanding of this, I'd love to know the intricasies behind this scheme. How good are one's chances of partaking if u apply after your studies?.

Scotland is running something similar and better than the English one. It is called "Fresh Talent". The scheme allows non-EEA citizens a two-year visa extension if they study in Scotland.

That's a good incentive by the Scottish. No wonder I had some friends going over there to study. Was wondering what they were up to?

If you have a small bedroom, you can have a home office in it. However, you need to be sure that it is not a distraction from your other living areas. To learn more about Terms and Conditions - Home Office Best, visit on hyperlinked site.
