If it is watery, you use too much water! Okro will draw on its own. No need to add Kain or anything. Also cooking with plastic utensils is dangerous as it can cause cancer. Eating hot food with plastic is also discouraged for same reason. Please note this include buying hot kose (àkàrà) and other hot snacks and food in nylon (leather as it is called in the North) is also not advisable.

Either add ogbono or cut the okra smaller (the smaller you chop them, the more the soup draws).

The type of okro you bought will determine if it will draw or not.

There are so many variants our there but not all of them draw.

Before u even buy from the market break the head of two or three pieces, okra that will draw will be clearly evident as rhe head falls of revealing the slime inside.

But the ones that dont fall off instantly, or falls half way and requires additional effort is the strong one that will not draw..evn wen u cut with a knife if remains hard.

Avoid these hard okro to get a good soup..
