Please what is the difference (pro and cons) between solar charge controllers PWM and MPPT of the same amps? E.g. 30A - PWM and MPPT 30A.

An MPPT can boost the charge required to charge the battery if the solar panels are not generating enough charge for the battery, but PWM can't boost the charge.
But that doesn't make it bad, PWM is way cheaper than MPPT.
In areas of low sunlight like Lagos,Rivers,Crossriver . I recommend MPPT, PWM won't do well in low sunlight in those areas but in North, PWM and MPPT will perform well because of the abundance of sunlight

Personally, I prefer MPPT especially Victron MPPT.

Thanks a lot for fining time to write an answer. However, you wrote an answer on general mppt and pwm. In the case where mppt and pwm of same amp rate, how well would they work or charge batteries? Or does your answer apply to this, as well?

My answer applies to that. But to throw more light.

MPPT will do a better job than PWM but if you are designing a small system , u can use a PWM .
