Starting Tomorrow, the Nigerians will be marching out to elect , with simple majority , men and women to pilot the affairs of the nation at the national and state levels for another four years. Ordinarily, this is a matter to be left to the will of the majority through the ballot box but Nigeria and Nigerians like to seek the divine will concerning every affairs of life. Nigerians like to know the answer as much as it is possible to do so even before they set out for a task. This includes those who are of the school of thought that there is nothing like God. They know in their heart that when they look up at the great coverings over the earth called the heavens in search of solutions to their challenges something ministers to their heart.

Therefore , for this coming elections everyone is interested in knowing the outcome even before the first ballot paper in cast, tomorrow. This great need has given rise to many suppliers in the guise of prophets. Whereas some are genuinely called to the office of a prophets some others are just enagged in the analysis of events and postulating on the possible out come. There are those who are operating the gift of the word of knowledge and prophecy. This last category are in the majority within the body of Christ.

A Prophet is called by God to act as an intermediary for the people .. he sits down and ask God for his will concerning issues or God calls to inform him of what he is about to do. They are like close confidante of God. Those operating the word of knowledge receives uncommon understanding that speaks to challenges while on the word of God , as they study the word they received the Rhema of the word and every true Rhema is energised for performance. A man operating the gift of prophecy is one that just received a message from God concerning somebody or events even while he or she wasn't dwelling on that issue ... He goes to the owner of the message to deliver same and is coronated a prophet by men. Then trouble starts as more people come seeking solution or message from him. Every Christian can be receive the word of knowledge and gift of prophecy but not all are called to the office of a prophet.


For this elections , some have spoken as prophets to the nation, some as beneficiaries of the word of knowledge others as carries of the gift of prophecy. Some have equally spoken out of their emotions and sound knowledge of permutations. Only result can make the difference

Bishop Abioye of Winners in a video message spoke about voting in the right candidate. He made it clear that we don't have the best of candidates but we have them in grades. He went on to give a Bible passage that struck me. God said, fear not I land for the Lord will do great things.. ( Joel 2:21). When God says I will do great thing, it means it will be visible that only his hands had done it. It will look impossible from every human point of view. When God boast that you will know that I am God, it is a very serious involvement of his person.


Wale Olagunju, a prophet was emphatic in his declaration just as he was in 2014 against Jonathan. Buhari is not coming back as President. He says God is done with this government and if not for his (God ) intervention PDP would just as well erase the APC from Nigeria in this election. He went on to declared that shock and massive probe awaits the members of this government, post May 29th. Buhari, according to him will be trashed in 25 states including Lagos, Tinubu’s business and play ground, in the last 20 years of democracy. Another man or prophet that follows in the same pattern and almost repeated Olagunju words is Temitope Aduroja. In 2015 he gave a state by state analysis of how Jonathan was going to be defeated. This time, it is how Buhari is going to be defeated. He says in at least, 20 state.

Those for the re- election of the president includes a team of 1,000 pastors who told the nation that they have fasted and God has returned Buhari for the sake of his good work. There is also a prophet Ituen. There is also an Omale that is based in Abuja who all says the president will return to continue to fight looters

As we go to the polls tomorrow, we must remember that we will be the ones God will be using to confirm or denounce these many prophets claiming to be his mouthpiece.
