Maybe he was truly eyeing the senate presidency seat; but that would have been political naive of him to think the APC would have handed it to him even if he won his senatorial seat.

Mazi don't be too quick to join the bandwagon...why don't you wait for the official results by inec.The result sheet posted in favour of pdp is coming from just one local govt (Etim Ekpo).

I am no supporter of pdp or apc...but I hardly see Akpabio not winning this.
