The Sw governors are largely responsible for the “poor performance”. From Ajimobi lording things over the party to the extent that many top party men left the party; to Amosun and even Aregbe failure to pay salaries. Akeredolu is surprising though. I think he’s fighting dirty with Tinubu.

Results of presidential election from 9 Local Government Areas, in Sokoto State have been announced.

The presidential candidate of the All Progressive Congress, APC, President Muhammadu Buhari, is currently leading in the State.

He has won Wamakko, Isa, Kware, Silame, Bodinga, Yabo and Sokoto South LGAs while Atiku won in only one local government area, Tureta.


Results from nine of 23 LGAs so far collated by the State Returning Officer, Prof. Yakub Yahuza, show that Buhari has won in eight.

In 2015, that result was fake. EU observers said no election in most part of Rivers. Prof Jega only allowed that result knowingly that it cannot meet the APC votes from Kano. Elder Orubebe embarrassed himself and the entire nation because of Rivers result. The Professor the returning officer for Rivers States presidential election did not have courage to announce the result but was diplomatically assured and assisted by Prof Jega.

In2015, Delta, Rivers and AkwaIbom presidential results were handwritten results. Alex Barde, Minima and Dasuki really tried. Ekpeyong the DG of DSS also tried. This time around, it is not possible. How and where in Delta, AkwaIbom and Rivers that a party will have 1,200,000 votes?

I'm not in support of any party neither do I want Atiku nor Buhari as my president but this election is beyond who wins whichever state or sharing of votes. It's about who gets the highest number of votes and wins 25% of votes cast in 19 states and the FCT. And with what I have seen so far, there is a bad voter turn out in PDP strongholds(SE and SS) and while they seem to be doing well, they may not win overall cos of the crazy turn outs in the NNW and NE which may widen the margins. As I sai earlier, I'm not in support of any party and I'm from the SE

No election will take place there again according to Prof Yakubu... them them on the move to manipulate results in the FCT.. cos it didn't turn out in their favour, Lagos yet to realease results due to bullion van owner. INEC had to stop counting or collating results due to Akpabio..
