Some reported that PDP Presidential candidate spent 15 million dollars at the primaries alone, with delegates going home with at least 5000 dollars each. https://infomediang.com/2018/10/07/how-much-did-atiku-abubakar-spend-at-pdp-presidential-primaries/ One then wonders the total cost of his campaign, and how it would be recovered, considering he ended up losing the election. This is not a mockery of the candidate but an avenue for us to learn. How do you assess the obviously colossal amount invested? |

rusher14: I would think boast about being self financed if it were the case. Trump spent 66 million on his campaign from his own pocket. Then he relied on party funds they get from pac and small donations. Whats the point having party backing if you have go it alone financially paying companies like Ballard.
