Can Osibanjo Win 2023 Election Considering He Lost In His Constituency? by Kundagarten: 10:57am On Feb 27, 2019
The Yorubas have been predicting that Osibanjo would be the person to beat in 2023 election, considering he would be the incumbent VP.
Fast forward to last Saturday when the same man lost his deposit in a landslide defeat. So what happens now?

Obasanjo never won his constituency, not even his ward nor his polling unit, yet he was president twice.

You are in several pains. Don't worry, time heals wounds. Last last everybody will be alright. Meanwhile Osinbajo/ El-Rufai 2023.

On the other side, I am selling Sniper Insecticide at subsidized rate. Living is quite expensive, dying shouldn't be.

Stop comparing Obasanjo with Osibanjo. Obasanjo was a former ruler when he contested in that election.

This Buhari victory has totally destroyed your psyche. The fact that Obi will not be called VP is Killing you slowly. You better watch yourself before you die on this matter.

How many threads about this issue will you open? After 8 years as VP/Acting president, he has already seen all and done all and will prefer to retire so you better rest before you die of hate and bitterness.

At least you're honest. It's impossible for him to win, with or without bullion vans.

This is the politics section, the idea of resting just because the election is over is fantasy.

How many times do we have to tell people that VGC isn't Osinbajo's home town nor state? Osinbajo is an Ogun state man and the people of Ogun voted massively for APC because of Osinbajo despite Amosun anti party scheming and Obj antagonism.

You shouldn't expect Osinbajo to have won at a residence he already left since 5 years ago. Who knows if he didn't live up to a year in that residence sef? Maybe he had just packed to the place before luck smiled on him and moved him to Abuja as the vice president.

Hence coming back to his former residence, just a day to election wouldn't have amount to anything. The self entitled eediots who had expected him to come through for them just because he onced lived at the VGC residence are very stupid, especially the one who blamed Osinbajo for the death of his son who had died as a result of flooding as if Osinbajo is the Lagos state governor or owes him anything in the first place. Yeye dey smell.

The question is "where will the votes for Osibanjo come from"? All the votes in Yoruba land cannot make him President

This is a new spin.
Osibanjo came from Ogun state that's why he didn't win his polling unit. Utter badder dash.

Nope your poor brain failed to note he has left that residence since 5 years ago.

Only fools would expect him to have won at a residence he had just returned to, a day prior to election, especially with self entitled eediots who were blaming Osinbajo for their problems at the residential area as if Osinbajo is their governor. Yeye dey smell.

What does it matter? Every one knows that place as his place of residence and his polling unit, I guess MC Oluomo failed to do his job there. Osibanjo lost his polling unit just admit it and move on.

So who stopped Osibanjo from returning to his home town?
Just admit the bullion van of cash arrived late hence he lost.

Whether he lost his polling unit or not, that doesn't negate the fact that he didn't cast his vote in his home town like others did. Atiku cast his in his hometown and lost. That's the definition of losing.

Osibanjo will win. The reason is simply because the south east will support his opponent.

Osibanjo chose to register at that place, that place is now his constituency. He lost fair and simple, say the truth for once it won't kill you.

There's no logic in what you wrote there. South east supported Obasanjo, Jonathan and Musa Yar'adua and they all won.
The Yorubas didn't support Obasanjo, Jonathan nor Yar'adua.

He didn't want to go. As simple as ABC. He probably knew his people in Ogun would vote him whether he was there or not and he wanted to divide PDP votes at his former VGC residence. He already knows of the envious nature of the residents living in the place.

And what arrived late? The stupid VGC residents were just jealous of Osinbajo because God's grace found him and took him to aso rock

I get what you're trying to say but my point remains the same. He lost in his place of residence. Stop trying to spin it.

He didn't just register at the said place. That was his previous residence before he left for aso rock. Only Osinbajo knew why he didn't ask for a PVC transfer like others did.

Besides, he won substantial amount of votes at his polling unit despite the hostility of the jealous eediots over there. Na Osinbajo send them? One foolish eediot was even blaming his child death on Osinbajo as if Osinbajo was his governor. I thought they said these people are educated. Bunch of envious thieving losers.
