The President of the Senate, Dr Bukola Saraki has wished winners of the Presidential and National Assembly election in Kwara “best of luck, despite blaming reported inadequacies for his defeat.

In statement issued by his special adviser, media and publicity, Mr Yusuph Olaniyonu, on Tuesday in Abuja, Saraki said while the election is generally peaceful, there were inadequacies. He alleged that card readers were not used in over 70 per cent of the polling units, while multiple voting, over-voting and other discrepancies were reported by agents of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) across the state.

The senate president said the state chapter of PDP would take a position on the right response to the inadequacies. “Whatever the final outcome of the election, I wish the candidates that have emerged all the best in their attempts to serve our people. It is my prayers that the good people of Kwara state will always have the best from any government both at state and federal levels..

Yes, blame everything and everyone but yourself.

At this point, Saraki and PDP are disrespecting the will and choice of the people.

When you think yourself a God that cannot be brought down.... the audacity of Saraki.

Redo the election and you'll still lose.

IDGAF about the content....I'll still pass my message to Saraki and his stooges.

O to ge! cool

I could remember when wailers and ipob fools used to praise this man to high heavens after he stole the senate seat and after Onnoghen acquitted him.

They called him maradona!

They called him the smartest politician of our time!!

They called him Bubu slayer!!!

Surely he must have felt like the next powerful being to God Almighty Himself.

Ipob's and wailers told him he was too witty and intelligent and that he should run for president.

That was why he bought the PDP nomination form.

See how he has been humiliated!

He might pretend about it, smile before the cameras and go ahead to congratulate his conqueror.

But make no mistakes about it,

Saraki knows he just got humiliated.
