Opportunities abound for candidates who wish to study for their Masters in the UK but have no financial capacity to achieve their desire.

This is to inform the public that the UK Department For International Development (DFID) is calling for candidates from developing and lower-middle-income commonwealth countries to apply for Commonwealth Shared Scholarships. This to enable them to run a full-time Master's study on selected courses which is fully funded by the UK Department For International Development (DFID) and jointly supported by UK universities.

Commonwealth Shared Scholarships affords talented and motivated individuals the opportunities to gain outstanding knowledge and skills required for sustainable development and it's targeted at those who could not otherwise afford to study in the UK.

These scholarships offer the following six programmes:
Science and technology for development
Strengthening health systems and capacity

Strengthening resilience and response to crises
Access, inclusion, and opportunity

Academic merit of the candidate
Potential impact of the work on the development of the candidate’s home country.
