COALITION OF SOUTHERN IJAW LOCAL GOVERNMENT LEADERS BAYELSA STATE CONGRATULATES

HIS EXCELLENCY PRESIDENT MUHAMMADU BUHARI, GCFR. ON A WELL DESERVED VICTORY.

As a people, we consider the outcome of the just concluded Presidential Elections as a true and sincere reflection of the will and yearnings of the good people of Southern Ijaw Local Government in particular and the entire People of Bayelsa State in general and Nigerians at large. We therefore say;

1. Congratulations Mr President, your well-deserved victory is not only a victory for Nigerians but for global democracy. We, however, urge that having fought corruption to a standstill, you immediately concentrate on the Nations economy, by swiftly activating a world-class "Economic Team" to reinforce the progress you recorded in your first term.

2. Congratulations and a big "thank you" to our Son, Brother and visionary Leader, High Chief Dr Selky Kile Torughedi
National Leader Niger Delta Ex Agitators Leadership Forum. AKA GEN YOUNG SHALL GROW You are an embodiment of "GRACE" and everything you touch turns into gold. Gen Young Shall Grow is a lover and believer of President Muhammadu Buhari to the extreme hence his constant assurances to us of VICTORY even when "the sea appeared to be rough". High Chief Dr Selky Kile Torughedi was the first person to assemble us in Southern Ijaw Local Government Area and told us to be wise and vote for the All Progressives Congress APC, because His Excellency President Muhammadu Buhari WILL WIN Our dear son and Leader you are indeed a "MAN" thank you, Gen. Young Shall Grow as you delivered PMB without any bloodshed

3. Thank you also, GEN. YOUNG SHALLGROW because you gave us strength when we were weak, and also made sure that every true and faithful supporter of President Muhammadu Buhari made it to their respective polling units across the Southern Ijaw Local Government Area without stress or pains, you provided logistics and also provided food for us before during and after the voting just to make sure that voting was free and fair in Southern Ijaw and everybody was happy.

4. We also thank God for using you Gen Young Shall Grow to bring peace to our land. This is the first time in years that Elections in Southern Ijaw did not result in any bloodbath! Although we are not surprised because right from your days in the Creeks you vowed not to take the life of any Ijaw man or even create a situation that will cause death in the Ijaw nation. Today the entire Southern Ijaw Local Government celebrate you and we must extend this sentiment of appreciation to Mr President and notify him of your peaceful coordination of the Elections.

5. Our appreciation cannot be complete without recognising the efforts and vast contributions of another noble and heroic son of Southern Ijaw, in the person of Hon. David Lion who worked tirelessly to also ensure victory for the APC He also committed his time and resources to a Peaceful, Free, and Fair Elections in Southern Ijaw Local Government Area. We are very proud of the Leadership qualities of both Gen. Young Shall Grow and Hon. David Lion. We assure the Bayelsa State APC as well as the National Leadership of the APC that due to the contributions and peaceful coordination these two heroes of SouthernIjaw Local Government Area, we endorse APC 100% any day any time.

Finally, we thank all the good people of Southern Ijaw, both of the APC and the PDP, for respecting the call for Peace and calm by the *"town criers" sponsored in every single community in the Southern Ijaw Local Government Area, by Gen Young Shall Grow, with the support of Hon. David Lion using their resources and time to keep us safe by making sure that Southern Ijaw is peaceful, we invite other leaders across Bayelsa State to emulate him.

May God bless them and all the People of our dear Local Government Area.
