A lady was apprehended in the early hours of today, while on her way to dump the corpse of her baby.

The suspect was caught along the Esisi road in Warri, Delta State. She was said to be heading towards a river in the area when she was intercepted and a baby’s corpse was found inside the polytene bag she was carrying.

However, she refused to reveal the cause of the baby’s death, but she has since been handed over to the police.
