Balderdash!

What did Aregberascal achieve in Osun state? He completed 8 even while owing salaries and debts. You were shouting omoluabi up and down in Osun that became d worst governed state under APC

Browse on Aregbesola mega schools, hospitals and roads. He did far better than any SE governors. The only weakness he had was the reduction of workers salaries. Aregbesola doesn't even have a new house built for himself like most governor ale do before leaving office. He retired into his previous residence. He doesn't have any company nor business. His children schooled in Nigeria.

Apart from slashing workers salaries, Aregbesola was a performer. That can't be said for SE governor such as Ikpeazu who has done nothing in Abia but to make it a smelly place. Yeye.

Even Africa union commended Aregbesola on his infrastructures. It's unfortunate these infrastructures took it toll on Osun state workers' salaries.

The SE has always been politically loyal, and have always delivered accordingly on that principle. Not the SW that are neither here or here, a whole can of worms was opened in the just concluded Presidential election, and the inconsistent votes that we saw in the SW have definitely marked out the SW as politically unreliable, needless to mention the current basis of repressed but certain sentiments in the North about that election, that has engendered some distrust towards your region... We all know the North almost single handedly won that election for Buhari.

As a matter of fact, the the SW without knowing it, have politically given the SE a huge lifeline for 2023 presidency, more Northern leaders will be fancying forging alliances with the SE cause bloc votes are guaranteed if they present a running mate from the North for a SS/N or SE/N ticket.

Liar. The southeast have always played political of hate everywhere since the 60s. The killing of every regional leaders apart from the Ibos, the millions Man march in solidarity with Abacha to spite the Yorubas, they didn't vote Abiola too.

Abeg loose me with your nonsense. Yeye dey smell.

If you guys are really politically astute, you would have known removing Jonathan in 2015 is political mistake.

The SE/SS you insult today, will bury you politically in 2023.

We dey wait.

Lmao. Jonathan wasn't insulting us when he and Arthur Eze was calling Yoruba useless amala ewedu people on national TV? Jonathan wasn't insulting us when he said Ibos were the only pillar of his government? Jonathan wasn't insulting us when he had no Yorubas in his executive cabinet?

Lol. Jonathan sank down into his hole the moment he allowed the political saboteurs like the Ibos who love to play politics of hate dominate his administration.

Did you think they don't know how ironsi and Ojukwu moved against the creation of COR (Calabar, Ogoja, River) from the eastern region in the 60's?

Clap for your self, political analyst. We shall see how u will clinch that power u are dreaming of come 2023 with a Northern PDP candidate on d ballot.

U have burnt d bridges in d south with Ur backstabbing in 2015.

Maybe only Yoruba will vote APC come 2023.

U think d North are not wise? The way they made sure they massively supported Buhari against GEJ in 2015 is d same way they will support Kwankwaso or whoever PDP gives d ticket in 2023 including those northerners in APC, they will work against APC.

2023 will be fun

Will you keep quiet? Didn't Yorubas vote for Jonathan in 2011? What did we get in return? Insult from the Ibos who dominated his government. I'm sure he's regretting it already. Yeye.

Fact is SW votes for APC was higher than SE votes for APC but not just that, SW votes for PDP was higher than the total of SE votes for pdp.

you have no idea how the military works.
At the time 1 Battalion, Enugu (under the leadership of Lt/Col. David Ogunewe) was the closest fighting unit stationed in the region. The Boro rebellion began on Feb 23, 1966, and lasted for 12 days. Ojukwu lacked the powers to give orders to a battalion commander, he was a mere administrator. Only the 2 Brigade in Lagos or Army Headquarters, Lagos could give orders to the 1 Battalion commander in Enugu. So it follows that Boro was crushed by troops of 1 Battalion, under the leadership of Col Ogunewe and under the orders of the Supreme Commander, Maj Gen Ironsi. I repeat no one else could have given such orders (Even a Brigade commander gets his orders form Army Hq)

So let's say I yield to your argument that Ojukwu didn't quash the NigerDelta Republic, who did? Aguiyi Ironsi? An Igbo man?

This is very childish sir.

It's seems you take this Nairaland comments very serious and you are very bitter about the outcomes of the 2015 and 2019 elections.

In a democracy, everyone exercise their rights to vote for ANY candidate that they like and there is no crime committed in doing that, so no need for punishment of any region or ethnic group.

There are hundreds of ethnic groups in Nigeria, many of whom voted for any candidate so why singling out the Yorubas for special punishment?

And why do you think you or few embittered fellows like you on Nairaland can punish a whole ethnic group?

What's so special about 2023? Where is it written or said that a Yoruba MUST be president in that year?
In electoral contests, sometimes you win and sometimes you lose, what's so special in that?

If a Yoruba man is not elected as a President in 2023,'then they can win another time... please stop all these arrant nonsense talks sir.

franchasng:
Yorubas miscalculated and created enemy for themselves with their Southeast and Southsouth brothers they ought to have stood with or at least not condemn them so viciously like they have been doing since 2015 that they ganged-up against Goodluck, supported the bias removal of CJN Onnoghen.

Power will return back to PDP, definitely to a Northern politician, most probably Kwankwaso or Atiku or Tambuwal or any other Northern politician that PDP will field in 2023!

APC is a Lagos party without Buhari in the picture!

So in 2023 when Buhari completes his tenure, he will become a docile siddon de look while his Northern brothers put their cars on reverse gear back to PDP to ensure power remains in the north.

And of course Southeast and Southsouth will vote massively for PDP's Northern candidate to ensure they pay Yoruba people back their attacks and hatred on SE and SS!

By then, we will see how Southwest will win 2023 Presidential election.

The only way APC can possibly remain in power in 2023 is to field a Northern candidate like El Rufai, Nuhu Ribadu, which Tinubu and Southwest will never accept, so 2023 will be super fun to witness, God please keep me alive and healthy to witness the events

Sir, I guess you have been around enough to know that in life, especially in political life, most times all things don't remain the same.

dokie:

We are not talking spiritual at the moment. If we were, we shouldn't even be talking about 2023 in the first place.

We are simply analysing issues as humans (all things remaining same) just like one has a child and say he/she will be a graduate in 25years to come, without considering that the child can decide dropout of school to pursue other ambitions.

That's why we all should not be too passionate about any of this.

Tell all these your moonlight tales to your Yoruba brothers who have been busy attacking, defaming and condemning Igbos to the extent of even threatening to attack Igbos physically if they vote against APC or Tinubu's choice in Lagos and true their words, they fulfilled their threats in Lagos as witnessed in Okota, Surulere, Amuwo-Odofin, etc.

No Yoruba elite or even ordinary Yoruba man or woman condemned that abominable and shameful act of Yorubas instead they continued to brag and unleash more threats on Igbos.

Yorubas used to be peaceful and accommodating, but it seems Tinubu's politics have poisoned the minds of modern Yorubas of today and they are loosing their sanity and senses that made others to cherish them.

So we Igbos and even Southsouth are waiting to pay them back anytime the chance comes, so don't preach to me, preach to your brothers, they are towing the line that destroyed Northeastern Nigeria
