Koseleri Will Always Be Koseleri

No matter what anybody or anyone says about Governor Ajimobi, he still remains the Koseleri of Oyo State. APC’s loss at the Governorship elections are not strong enough to eclipse Mr. Transformation’s pace setting achievements which will remain indelible in the annals of the history of the state. I have researched and googled, some of the things I found, include but not limited to:

1. First Governor to win a second term mandate

2. First Governor to pay 13th month salary in full for 3 years consecutively (2012, 2013 and 2014)

3. First Governor to dualise the road into major towns in Oyo State across all zones (Ibadan, Oke Ogun, Oyo, Ogbomoso and Ibarapa

4. Unprecedented eight years of peace in the state – No bank robbery, peaceful festive seasons

5. First Civilian Governor to build a flyover

6. First Governor to provide free medical services to over 1 million people across the state

7. First Governor to give interest free grants to traders

8. First Governor to build free shops to traders

9. The First Governor to introduce the Health Endowment Fund

10. First Governor to provide free mass transit bus transportation for workers and students

11. First Governor to pay 142% increase in pension

12. First Governor in Nigeria to introduce State Health Insurance Scheme

13. First Governor to establish a Technical University in Nigeria, The First Technical University, Ibadan

14. First and only Governor in South West to become the beneficiary of the World Bank assisted Better Education Service Delivery for All (BESDA) in the South West

15. First Governor to establish an Education Trust Fund in Oyo State

16. First Governor to institute a Security Trust Fund in Oyo State

17. First Governor to give Oyo State a City Master Plan as well as the Drainage and Solid Waste Master Plan

18. First Governor to introduce the Geographic Information System in Oyo State

19. The First Governor to institute an Industrial Policy in Oyo State

20. The First Governor to introduce Electronic C of O (60 Days time Limit)

21. The First Governor to achieve a Four Star Rating of the state by NIPC

22. The First Governor to elevate Oyo State to the fourth position in investment friendliness according to Nigeria Bureau of Statistics.

22. The First Governor to introduce e-governance with payroll automation as Phase one

23. The First Governor to introduce Treasury Single Account (2011)

These well documented facts speak for themselves.

Something is really amiss.

Was expecting you to tell us how he took education serious especially the tertiary institutions but you didn't because you and I know that the man failed woefully.

Let him enjoy his defeat in good sportsmanship spirit.

Just trying to console yourselves

Truly Ajimobi tried for Oyo state. I'll always be grateful for the work he did in the area of security and how he put the miscreants at Bay.

However his rise and fall is a lesson that no matter your achievements, attitude is important. Excellent human relations skills are vital in life. Ajimobi lacked regard for people and that was his Achilles heels.

I hope Seyi Makinde doesn't allow the remnants of the Adedibu thugs to re-emerge from wherever Ajimobi chased them to.

Osoba also performed in Ogun then but was voted out due to his reckless talk.
