No ipob post is complete without empty, shallow, ignorant and unintelligent chest beating..

Nna, let me break it down to you.

You can not show me any credible documented stats that says you are better than the folks outside your ipob village borders and even last time I checked, you can not be better than the rest of Nigeria and still be leaving the comfort of your own towns and villages to do migrant labor, peddle pure water, fan yogo and fake CDs just seek your daily bread and survival from the people you are better than.

Abeg, this is the kind of rubbish you spew @ foreigners, not to Nigeians because we sabi you well weel, your towns and villages are poor and wretched, they are too unproductive to give you jobs or any hope for survival

grin grin grin

Every tribe in Nigeria has more impoverished people that comfortable people. And every state in Nigeria including Lagos has grossly underdeveloped locations. Perhaps you have forgotten that Nigeria itself is a grossly underdeveloped nation.

While you analyse that, the guys you look down on as selling pure water and fan yogo and all the other accessories in traffic jams almost across all states of Nigeria are the south wests equivalent of agberos and dope heads in motor parks following Mc oluomo and his kind all around the place. They come from the poorest homes with no parental assistance whatsoever.

But rather than be useless to themselves and families, they have left their villages to try their luck through hard work in cities near their villages all the way to distant lands. And you know what? In the mind of those guys you see as low lives is the hope that through that 'hustling' as they call it, they can save up and engage in better businesses tmrw.

They are a million times better than your kind. And if they were given a quarter of the opportunity you have had in life, they would have been miles ahead of what you have achieved. And if you had their backgrounds, I would be surprised if you would be better than the agberos littered around motor parks everywhere without future ambition.

Your taunts will never make us clamour for presidency in 2023. Whine all you can, we don't care. Most Yoruba's hate the thought of an igbo man as President, while the hausas fear that if the igbo man takes the presidency, he will divide Nigeria. We have accepted our fate, and we are not bothered about it.

No Igbo man has been president since ironsi, and even with the war, we have faired better than every other tribe in Nigeria in almost if not all human development indices at the moment. So why should we trouble ourselves with presidency. It is for you Yorubas to lose sleep over it.
Chest beating as usual. Fair better my foot.

Sure u can do that. Why not add ur master card if u have one so as to avoid matters that touch. Is ur paypal USA, SAUDI ARABIA, LESOTHO or which one? If it is saudi arabia or lesotho or south africa, then pls add ur master card to make it to make it safer for u. And that is if it is a biz account and it is not USA Paypal. Good luck

The guys you call agberos and motorpark touts are covered under the highlight, every region in Nigeria has its portion of them. They exist in SE, and they are Ibo not Yoruba.

When comparing our regions what you should look at are not what is uniformly found in both, but the differentiator that sets us apart will conclude who is ahead of the other.

It is true that left in SE those who hawk fan yogo and gala and water would not anywhere be financially independent as they are in SW, even though their spirit of hardwork and effort is same in SE as it is in SW. So it is not their energy, not their enterprise, not their hardwork or effort or drive that gives them social mobility and financial independemce, it is the market that differentiates, and the market in SW empowers them....whereas the market in SE is a deficit to them.

Market itself as we have told you many times on this nairaland forum is a dynamic in Yorubaland, it has its rituals. The rites and custody of markets in Lagos must remain in Yoruba hand and under Yoruba leadership - Iyaloja, Babaloja. This tradition creates the buoyant exchange under which your energetic and driven brother can migrate from a deficient market in SE that fails him and attain success in the market in SW that aids him.

They are not better than their Yoruba peers. Their peers were born into an ennabling and empowering society where efficiency and advancement is the overriding theme. Yoruba children are not born into deficiency, culturally or economically. Their sense of social independence is inbred and they ride the wave to attain excellence. Yoruba boys have no need, no pressure to migrate out of an efficient and economic success system in SW into a deficient and economic stagnation ypu have in the SE. Why would anyone do that? Hence our migration is in the direction of societies more developed and buoyant than what we have at home....and for this reason we are not all over Nigeria but you can find us in Europe and America in plentitude. For those of us who remain at home you can find us in corporate jobs.

While the streets affords your hawking boys their training and business maturity, corporate board rooms gives our boys their training and business maturity. While you graduate from street to shops our boys graduate from managers to executives. So the difference is clear in the environment that bred us and you and as well the dynamism or lack of in the respective regions. There is no person who started as a gala hawking boy and graduated up the advancement ladder to become a financial giant in this country, but there are many who started as interns in corporations and are now themselves corporate giants, and it all happens in the dynamism of markets of exchange in Yorubaland.

There are many energetic and driven Ibo hustlers in SE, where are they compared to their brothers that migrated to SW to hawk gala....they are viewed with indignity and oppressed by Yoruba speaking Ibos during homecoming at christmas .

The separation is clear between the "haves" and the "have nots", and it is all thanks to Yorubaland, not your energy or know how.
