imagine one is even saying authoritatively "How can they shortlist you with 'Master's in view when the requirement was Master's "...... maybe he/she should go and screen the person out.....

Another one is saying that appointment letter is being given out already ... same thing dey said during FRSC test..... mtcheeew.... if you knew that appointment letter will be given even before shortlisting for test.... why did you waste time to apply..... when you would have tell your source to get you one

Irrespective of whether 150million Nigerians apply or only 30k applied...whether slot or whatever... . People will get the job on merit.....

Bottomline..... forget about what you have and continue practicing and preparing well.....

Then I rather keep visiting this thread, At least no matter the jargons here some truth dey & you will leave information for future references. I don't know why some Nigerians will rush to hide themselves in a WhatsApp group of 250 when there is a better alternative for thousands of people to learn.

When a student weighing 45 kgs left a class, the average weight of the remaining 59 students increased by 200g. What is the average weight of the remaining 59 students? A.57kgs
B.56.8kgs
C.58.2kgs
D.52.2kgs
E.50.2kgs

B.56.8kgs
C.58.2kgs
D.52.2kgs
E.50.2kgs

Solution :
If the Weight of the student that left class=45kg
Therefore, weight of remaining 59 students will be:
59*45kg=2655kg.
Then, average weight of the remaining 59 students =2655kg/59=45kg.
Again, 200g increase added to the average weight of 59 students when 45kg weight student left class means:
200g * 59 =1180g=11.8kg.
Finally, it implies that, average weight of 59 students + 200g Increase to the average =45kg + 11.8kg=56.8kg.

B.56.8kgs

D.52.2kgs
E.50.2kgs

Let X = Total weight of 60 students
Y = average weight of 60 students

Therefore (X/60) =Y ………….equ 1

When a student weighing 45 kgs left a class
(X-45)/59 = Y+ 0.2 ……………. Equ 2 (average weight of the remaining 59 students increased by 200g = 0.2kg)

From equ 1
X = 60Y ………….. equ 3

From equ 2
X – 45 = 59Y + 11.8
X = 59Y + 56.8 ……….Equ 4

Input the value of X in equ 3 into equ 4
60Y = 59Y + 56.8
Y = 56.8

From equ 2 average weight of 59 students = Y + 0.2
= 56.8 + 0.2
= 57

Let the average weight of the 59 students be A.
So the total weight of the 59 of them will be 59*A.

The questions states that when the weight of this student who left is added, the total weight of the class = 59A + 45
When this student is also included, the average weight decreases by 0.2 kgs

{59A + 45}/{60} = A - 0.2

=> 59A + 45 = 60A - 12
=> 45 + 12 = 60A - 59A
=> A = 57

Do you have a M
If you do and it is within 2014 till date, you can apply. I also graduated 2010 but my MSc is 2017. I called the NNPC recruitment helpdesk and it was confirmed that I can apply since I have an advanced certificate from a tertiary institution that is not earlier than 2014

Are you really sure about this? Cos I just realized I fall under this category too, Bsc in oct 2013, Msc in 2016 and NYSC In 2017. I tried calling the helpline but it’s not working anymore.

back to the bus stand. The destination is 27 miles from
the bus stand. The speed of the bus is 18mph. In the
return journey, the bus travels with 50% fast speed. At
what time did it return to the bus stand?

A. 11AM B. 12AM C. 1PM

Solution :
Time taken by the bus to reach destination :
Using the relation, Speed =distance /time
Speed of bus given =18mph
Distance=27miles
Time =?
Therefore, time taken=1.5hrs,arriving at 9:30am
Since, the bus spent 30min at the destination, it took off back to the bus stand at 10.00am
When returning, travels at 50% speed means :
Speed =9mph
Distance= still 27miles
Time= Will be 3hrs
Finally, since it took off back to the bus stand at 10.am, it would arrive at 1.00pm.

return journey, the bus travels with 50% fast speed. At
what time did it return to the bus stand?

A. 11AM B. 12AM C. 1PM

Solutions

The bus started at 8am from the bus stand
On getting to it destination, it spent 30mins

So, let's calculate d time it spent on getting to its destination:
Distance to its destination= 27miles
Speed of the bus= 18mph
time?
using d formula:
Speed= distance/time

time= distance/speed
T=27miles/18miles per hr
T= 1.5hr
convert to minutes
T= 1.5*60= 90mins
T= 1hr 30mins
So it spent 1hr 30mins to its destination. then u add it to the 8am. (8am + 1hr 30mins) 9:30 am

So it reaches to its destination at 9:30am

On getting to its destination, it spent 30mins b4 taken off. so, 9:30am + 30 mins = 10am

So it left its destination at 10am

On returning to its stand, it speed increases by 50%(50% fast speed);
So returning increasing speed= 50/100*18mph= 9mph

New speed= 9mph + 18mph= 27mph
Distance = 27miles
time?
time= distance/speed
T=27miles/27mph
T= 1hr

it spent 1hr to get back 2 its stand

Time it reaches back 2 its stand=time it left its destination + time it spent 2 get back 2 its stand

Time = 10am + 1hr = 11am.

Ans= A. 11am
