Singer Tiwa Savage has today visited victims of the Lagos island collapsed building which 20 people, majorly school children were killed, and some currently receiving treatment at the hospital.

Although Tiwa did not disclose her move or posted anything about it, a Twitter user who saw her at the hospital revealed he saw Tiwa there.

"Just saw Tiwa Savage at the General Hospital Gbagada to visit the victims of the collapsed building. Bless her Soul!!!" he tweeted.

Tiwa confirmed the tweet saying;

"The one in lagos island, it was heartbreaking but have to give it to the staff there. They are really working hard and the children I saw were not in critical condition. All were getting better ❤️��"

Meanwhile, the Lagos State Government on Friday began the demolition of distressed buildings on Lagos Island.

The move is as a result of the collapsed three-storey building at Ita-Faji area of Lagos Islands.

Officials of the Lagos State Building Control Agency, LASBCA, backed by policemen stormed Freeman Street, Lagos Island around 9:50am and immediately began demolition.

I expect Mr. Jimi Agbaje to visit the site and hospitals where the victims are getting treatment. Is he not in the state or did he travel out? That is how the man normally disappears after losing elections for him to reappear again in the next 4 years to contest again. I am sure if the elections have not taken place, he would have showed face at the site as a campaign strategy.
