After a recent occurrence which a spinning ceiling fan fell in the middle of the night in a room at the Fagunwa Hall of Unilag which no one was hurt, there has been another sad event at the female hostel in which their rooms were filled with rain water because of leaking roof. Gistvic Reports.

Student were seen using bucket to scoop out the water that filled the rooms as they keep their valuables. Gistvic Reports.

its better the increase the hostel fee for better maintenance than making it cheap and vulnerable to easy destruction.

Especially since governments past and present have not paid ASUU the 3trillion promised in 2009.

IN the USA, fees cost anywhere between $3000 dollars to $60000..

In Nigeria fees cost less than $400 at all public universities.

There is a reason why roofs don't leak in us hostels. Higher fees means better quality accommodation.

You people insult your country, and admire a man who was so racist as to prevent black people from renting in his property some 40 years ago. Yet you won't pay the price for better.

We need a budget of over 6 trillion for education alone to be up to standard. Our budget is 9trillion. We spend less than one trillion on education.
