Hausa-fulani Presidency In 2023 Will Boost Secessionist Struggle. by Biodun556(m): 6:29pm On Mar 20, 2019 |
No doubt Nigerian politics is being controlled by Hausa- Fulanis by the virtue of land mass, number of consistency, senatorial districts and local government. Aside from these advantages, the tribe is also smart and cooperate during political games. They don't waste their weapons in most cases and are highly magnanimous when it comes to inter tribal politics. When Sanusi; the former central bank governor was sacked by former president goodluck Jonathan there was little outcry from the region as it would have been if it was the other way round. Obasanjo was enthroned by the Northerners during his first term because his votes were mainly from the North the same applied to Goodluck Jonathan in 2011 despite the fact that he's from core South and even a Christian, he won most Norther States against the now celebrated Buhari. The poeple of Norther Nigeria will never be so daft to bring another Northerner after one of them might have spent 8 years in office. They are highly cultured people and adhered strictly to federal character and zoning which they themselves invented. What if Hausa Fulani man emerged in 2023?. The people of West are peace lovers, they will not over heat the polity but what is certain is that Nigeria will not exist anymore. Why can't we have Ibo president in 2023? There is nothing stopping the ibos from ruling Nigeria in 2023 provided it is not under APC. No Easter state give APC 25 percent vote during presidential election as the second criteria required by law to be declared winner. |

TRuth is Nairaland rant can't change 2023 permutation. Las Las you would cue behind the two candidates the powerbrokers put their names on the ballot, but I kindof align with the OPs position.. People (especially igbos) erroroneously think the North holds some kind of special power but it is all mind games, caused by lack of knowledge of history and false census coupled with bias local goverment and constituency created by military |

Slaves are now patronizing their masters. No amount of blackmail will force the North to cede what is rightfully thiers (PDP ticket). As for APC ticket, if SW pick am in 2023 make I bend. You have only 6 states, SE/SS and MB has 20 states combined and I am sure they will never support a SW presidency in 2023. The North will never vote for SW in APC primaries over SS. Never. SW should forget 2023 because it will never happen. Tankio 10 Likes 3 Shares |

Why can't we have Ibo president in 2023? Ibos are not the only tribe in Nigeria, senate president must come from Ibo,vice president must come from Ibo,president must come from Ibo, what do they want, and still ask,is Ibo the only tribe in Nigeria. 1 Like |

Parasitic landlocked SE can't afford to secede. The secession noise was just a gimmick. If it wasn't, their senators and house of representatives woud have passed the secession bills in the house. Heck, Ekweremadu was a deputy senate President for years. All they are concerned about is being hateful, backstabbing, voting useless leaders while they run to other regions. Lol 4 Likes |

This is the reason Ibos will never get it right, whoever that has contrary opinion, you tag him/her yoruba/afonja or whatever so, when will you get it right, the reality is that, the Ibos are consumed by tribalism and that's what has come back to hunt them.
