This is part 1 of the APC trick on south west. The part 2 trick will come into play in 2023 when the position of presidency and the vice will be zoned to the north.

The project is too slow. Go to Asia and see how Chinese firms work day and night in order to get the job done within the shortest time. Here we only see them with petty machinery n little labourers. They should hasten up!

PMB is working.

Nigeria is moving forward

Why did he not complete the road that was already been built but rushed into a fresh railway project that is unfinished

Despite the fact I hate this government,I had to said that this project is a well needed one but what am not happy about is lying that the project is a naija government own whereas it is the CHINESE government project that would see them controlling that sector for 20years......
Calculate 20years to ur age how old would u be ?
Nigeria government only provides security and man power..
How do I know?
I live at IFO in Ogun State and a worker there....

Whats your take?

The minister is a liar

titiloyeblog:

The Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi on Friday apologized to Nigerians over the suspension of the Iju-Abeokuta free train ride during the 2019 general elections.

Amaechi tendered the apology during the monthly rail inspection of the Lagos-Ibadan modernisation project in Ibadan.

He said that the China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation (CCECC) suspended the three months free train ride due to security and safety of passengers.

“It was suspended by the Chinese and the excuse they gave me was that they cannot allow it run because of safety, since they have not completed the second line but they are almost through with it.

“It is almost completed from Iju to Abeokuta. I want to apologise to Nigerians that they suspended it when they left the country, which I didn’t envisage, they will go back soon,” Amechi said.(NAN)

Didn't the FG say they have commenced free transport on this rail line before the elections? Which means it wasnt even ready then.

Now that the elections are over, lets hope they dont abandon the project like they abadoned trader moni
The line us supposed to be between Lagos and Ibadan. The Lagos to Abeokuta length have been completed. The Abeokuta to Ibadan part is ongoing

Get a map, trace a line from Lagos to Ibadan and pass the line through Abeokuta. Then come back and tell me if it makes sense

The election period is a time to canvass for votes. This is the period politicians will promise heaven and earth to earn votes. Some go as far as plaiting hair, washing plates, some even go as far as being the friends of the masses by eating and drinking with them. Anything to retain and gather votes, the tricks are found with politicians.

Election time is over, we have the winners and we have the losers. One thing the federal government used to campaign for votes for the re-election of Pres. Buhari is the completion and activation of the Lagos-Ibadan Railway. But there seem to be some rumours that since the election has been won, it seems the federal government has abandoned the project since it has been used for the campaign.

TrackaNG, Nigeria's number one platform that holds government accountable for projects and accountability decided to see things for itself by visiting the Abeokuta axis to give a first hand reportage of the true nature... According to TrackaNG,

We tracked the construction of Lagos Ibadan railway project and report that work is ongoing during the time of field visit to the project site.

This ends the allegations of whether the conductors have abandoned the project or not. It will be recalled that the ministry of transportation, Mr. Rotimi Amaechi has mandated Nigerians to go to any site the federal government is working and take pictures and upload it to their various social media, according to him, this will help to check whether they are lying or working.

These are some of the images they took... Courtesy of TrackaNG

Learn to read simple English and don’t behave like a man who ran away from school to join the army without a certificate.
I asked what stopped Buhari from completing the road that was already started by Jonathan instead of rushing into the railway that he has abandoned
