Christianity is just too tolerant for my liking.

At no time did Jesus say, you should sacrifice yourself for him. Rather Jesus ordered us to stand our ground and the only caveat HE gave was that we should NOT fight in HIS name!

Gullible Christian fanatics have some how confused genuine martyrdom for cowardice!

Jesus ordered the disciples to procure two swords only which Peter used to strike one of the guards from the Sanhedrin who had come to arrest Jesus. It is here that Jesus rebuked Peter for striking the guard.

Jesus made it clear to Peter that he should NOT fight for HIM!

The guards then went with Jesus.

The symbolism of the two swords which Jesus said would be "enough" is clear testament that Jesus told the disciples to be ready to defend themselves when attacked but they should NEVER take up swords to defend HIM or fight for HIM.

Nigerian Christians MUST be ready to protect themselves and their properties from the Jihadist, after all Heaven help those who help themselves.

To state the fact, if the government continue to keep mute over the continuous killing of Christians in Nigeria, the result might turn out to be just as the Abacha regime forced the Yorubas to rise and form the OPC to their self defense, almost similar the silence of the government seem to be trying to do same to force Christians to start defending themselves and that is not going to be good for the nation. Because people listen a lot to religious leaders in Africa. So before any religious leader will rise, stand and call on Christians for self defense, it's better the government do something now and curb this impending avertable future crisis by providing adequate security for everyone in the country because prayers only cannot do it but actions from the government is needed.

Criminality is a human endeavour. What we take as a crime in our society is a way of life in the animal Kingdom. Stealing and murder is the way of life for Hyenas and can't be equated as a crime.

But crime has not always been in existence for primitive man operated at a level we can describe today as barbaric.

Crime came into existence when mankind began to socialise in organised groups. For there to be peaceful coexistence rules where drawn and from there the concept of crime was invented.

But it will take mankind several millennia to develop effective crime preventive measures by adopting independent authorities to punish criminals.

In primitive man, crime only existed in one dimensions involving two parties - the perpetrator and the victim which I will refer as the "first parties". Instant retribution was the only way to check crime in primitive man's world.

As man began congregating in extended groups, second parties arose as arbitrators. "First party" victims of crime will seek a "second party" to help get retribution and justice for a wrong doing he must have suffered. This thus led to a feudal state of man and it gave rise to generational warring among mankind as justice wasn't at the core at preventing crime but rather relationships and strength of affiliation of the "first parties." A prime example of this feudal state of war over injustice can still be seen among bedouin tribes.

Most societies decided early on that for society to be peaceful and crime free a "third party" who is guided by equity and fairness and who is versed in the laws ought to be appointed to arbitrate on crime. This "third party" saw the beginning of both the legislative and judiciary arms of society.

In failed states, the first cracks were first noticed when equity and justice had become eroded and compromised. Society members thus forego "third party" arbiters for "second" and "first party" solutions.

In present day Nigeria, the Buhari led FG has eroded any little confidence the people have in the security forces and courts in checking criminality and upholding the law.

When you have Fulani criminals going unchecked killing and raping across the land with no intentions whatsoever to reign them in and punish them for their heinous crime, their victims will be forced to adopt "second party" measures to protect themselves from future injustice and criminality.

As I said earlier "second party" solutions fall on securing solace and protection from powerful relations or from forming a powerful militia from people of similar bloc or relationships.

This has since seen the rise of tribal militias like the Mambilla Militia who formed tribal armies in Taraba to check the marauding fulanis whom Buhari has done nothing to check their activities.

A similar tribal militia was quickly assembled in Ife by Yorubas to check the rioting Awusa mobs who had killed a Yoruba man. The people of Ife took the laws into their hands because they knew from recent experience in Mile 12, Lagos that the security forces will not arrest the marauding Awusa mob.

Another good example of abuse of powers by the Buhari govt is the unconditional release of 5 Awusa men who beheaded an elderly Igbo trader. Buhari had earlier set the path for the release of the shameless cowards when he stated that "people should not take the laws into their hands" - meaning that he believed the woman deserved to be killed for desecration of Islam, a punishment deserving of death according to sharia law. It will then come as no surprise when the Kano state govt withdrew all charges of the perpetrators and set them free.

Since 2015, Buhari and his satanic APC are taking us back to their barbaric feudal medieval Islamic state of terror. It will then be no surprise when Nigeria soon slips into anarchy.
