If you think all of politics should be viewed from the prism of IBB vs Jonathan I will say unfortunately that is very shortsighted. There was Nigeria Politics before these two guys joined politics, there will hopefully still be Nigeria politics after they both retire. We are a country of over 300 ethnic groups and at least two religions.

The only way Nigeria can survive is through clearly defined rules that everyone can understand. If you say lets make it up today because Jonathan is in power. what if Jonthan cease to be in power tomorrow?

I have also said here previously that when folks accuse others of collecting bribe for holding a political view. They miss the point that what they are simply saying is in their own world that no one can hold a political view without being paid to do so. In essence they who accuse us must have been paid by the beneficiaries of the political views they hold.

Because lets face it no matter what view you hold on any issue whatsoever. Their will be those your views will malign and those it will be benign to.
So if I hold a view and you think may be that view favours IBB and you accuse me of collecting money from IBB for holding that view. You are simply telling us that the contrary view you hold which possibly favours Jonathan has already been paid for.

If this is what folks want to tell us that they have been collecting money to hold their views then I believe there is a more respectfull way of announcing that than accusing everyone else of what they already done.

Am very surprise that shameless people like IBB can still talk in this country, despite all the trouble and mess they put this country into. I however don't have a lot of trouble with him contesting, his poor mismanagement and implementation has been the biggest drawback to his success in driving the Nigerian economy forward.
I think he shld contest in his village for councellor and let us see if he will win first, then we can try to make hin chairman later.

IBB will spend a fortune on this campaign because its seemingly his last chance.
