NEMESIS IN POLITICS IS REAL
Who ever that believe in osun judgment are comedian and high joke writer,
Did you remember how obj play his political careers?
Obj never respect the stand of any court but he always respect the wish of the party,
Now that BUHARI play transparent policy in judicial department then PDP is playing money politics calling it mandate , APC as a party should raise up and act fact to stop these useless mandate claiming before these people claim presidency .
YOU ARE USING TRANSPARENT
PDP IS USING MONEY

It is good to point out to the Over enthusiastic PDP apologist that the Judges of the Osun tribunal never said that Supplementary election is illegal, they only said it is not necessary in this case.

They said PDP provided enough evidence that elections were held and declared at the polling unit where elections were cancelled, but elections were cancelled by the returning officer. According to them, a returning officer doesn't have the power to cancel a result when it has been declared at the polling unit.

The gray area is how they subtracted the results of the Supplementary elections and declared the PDP the winner based on the original results.

The chairman of the tribunal claimed that the tribunal has no such power, rather it should order inec to conduct a fresh election or add the votes that were initially cancelled

Section 140(3) of the Electoral Act, where substantial non compliance is proved, the tribunal can only order a supplementary or fresh election.

The second paragraph of your submission is where the victory arises from. Surely APC cannot secure victory at the SC and COA. Common sense made it clear at the tribunal for all to see. The REC did not have the power to cancel the votes which he did. The election was won at the first instance by PDP if not for the cancellation by the REC. Do you remember the famous phone call received by the REC when he was announcing the results. That was the point of no return where the "ojoro" was done.

You may just wonder why Onnoghen was accused and removed hurriedly on the eve of the election.

PDP offered 20 prayers as the lawyers called it and got this one affirming their victory. I think we all should accept it in good faith.

And if Adeleke loss in Appeal and Supreme Court, democracy will be under fire right?

Let's wait till supreme courts rule on the matter.
All we want is a nation all sectors will be up and running.
Buhari is really trying in not interfering with the electoral body or Judicial system

He is not interfering keh? You dey Nigeria so? And yet he removed Onnoghen on those trumped up charges?

Nigeria politicians can never surprise me even for a second. Very easy to predict. I can bet it that this same Dogara sooner than later will still say exactly the opposite on any judgement not in PDP's favour.
To me though our judiciary needs a systematic reform especially in the aspect of corruption. However, always castigating the judiciary isn't a way forward. Bcs politician in particular fail to realise that when they castigate judiciary whenever table turned against them it's showed that when it turned in your favor you might have also compromised them. As a nation we have practically used sentiment to destroyed the reputation of almost all our institutions

Let me cite the case of army in Rivers state election, we should all admit some of their officers might be culpable and we should condemn that rather than condemning the entire institution. Forgetting that without their presence in the state during the election, I belt it the election would have be more bloody. Also I listening to some many analyst regarding the 2019 election and surprise that most people never see a single thing INEC did or is doing right. They failed in certain areas yes but condemning them in total is unfair. We shouldn't destroy all our institutions

Yes you are right.

The court of appeal is only FINAL in National Assembly or House of Assembly’s election tribunal.

Appeals from Gubernatorial and Presidential elections go to the SC.

Thanks.

why is hard for your people to understand this Onnoghen issue?
He was indicted for something, the honourable thing to do is step aside and clear his name.
Now if not found wanting, he will be reinstated.
When Kemi case was lingering, she resigned.

Let's see things with clear judgement.

And may I ask who decides "indictment"? Is it the government or the court? Is it not better to use the word accused?

Kemi Adeosun resigned because to her she was guilty of the accused offence.

Can you equate that with Onnoghen? And by the way how many ex governors accused by the EFCC resigned from their senatorial seats? Do you remember that the chairman of the CCB himself is also accused?

What do you think?

Wike lost at the tribunal, lost at the appeal court and won at the Supreme Court. Mama Taraba won at the tribunal, lost at the appeal and Supreme Court.

Therefore, when the appeal or Supreme court says otherwise on Osun election, don't come here to start quoting scriptures.

this applies only to Election Tribunals for National Assembly and State Houses of Assembly though...

Apparently - Governorship and Presidential elections still go all the way to the SC. I guess that’s why Wike’s Went all the way to the SC

Thanks.
