A thief got more than he bargained after he was caught following a robbery operation and was about making away with the stolen items.

It was gathered that residents caught the robber with Plasma Tv and other items which he successfully burgled from a house, according to a report by Facebook user John Iloka.

In a viral video posted online, the thief was tied up and severely tortured with a machete as he begged for his life during the beating.

A resident who had a machete, used it all over the suspect's body as onlookers urged him to continue in a bid to serve as a deterrent to other thieves/burglars.

Further details as to what later happened to the thief, was not given but it was revealed that he couldn't move his body after the brutal mob action.

It's expected. The poor work hard but have nothing or little to show for it. It's incredibly annoying and frustrating for someone else to rob them of their sweat. I am not in support of jungle justice but e get as dey do body at times.
