Why must you blame South West and other people for all your Calamities?

Don't you have Leaders in South East why don't you guys held your Leaders Responsible?
u dey think at all? Hold the leaders for not building a port in the as/se? Or what re u saying? Approval of such comes from the FG which the SE/SS is always seen as not relevant yet they want to benefit from its resources. So tell me how will a single state government project or try to change the deeds of a President?

We all know what will happen to apapa if these sea ports in SS/SE re opened. Well, I don't expect u to understand cos even if u do, u won't ever agree since its about ur region

Awolowo is from Ogun state.

Politically, Ogun State alone has produced more political heavyweights than your entire backwards region put together.

Obasanjo President 2X
Shonekan Head, ING
Osinbajo VP
Diya. VP
Teslim Elias CJN
Adetokunbo Ademola CJN
Dimeji Bankole Speaker FHR

When your 5 worthless states combined can manage to produce a single president, you can reply me. Till then, keep shut and serve Nigerians in silence.

Obasanjo- President baboon looking, but try small as president.
Shonekan- houseboy president who was excorted by abacha out of aso rock
Osinbajo- Hoseboy VP to a certificateless president
Diya- cry cry baby general
Dimeji Bankole- thief thief speaker with 57 teeth in his mouth.

Shebi Stella Oduah opened a "world-class" Airport in Enugu?

Why don't you use it?

Even if the open 10 ports in each state of the SE, Igbos won't use it. Besides, the state governments won't put in structures to make it work. Eg Tinapa

Which Igbos?

Mention a single Igbo state with IGR up to one-fifth of Ogun state.
Or Igbos are the ones contributing taxes in Ogun state too?

See, Igbos are always bitter when good things come to other people. Bring a project to the SW, they cry. Take it to the North, na cry. Take it to the SS, they insult SS that they are foolish for allowing the APC deceive them.

Look at how Igbos insult SE leaders that try to reach out. Umahi, Rochas, Kalu, Obiano, etc are routinely insulted. It is blockheaded leaders like Ikpeazu that they like.

That is why the SE has become what it is today.

Nigeria as a country don’t trust the Igbos. In fact the entity is scared of the Igbos. Why SS is not getting these ports is because of proximity to Igbos.

But in the big plan of Nigeria’s development we need to damn these fears and trash the rubbish concurrent list versus exclusive list.

These days I just say it the way it is, I have no time to massage anybody’s ego.

Do you think a sea port in Calabar or Rivers will help relieve apapa gridlock? Yes o no?

Do you think it is best for the country?

Will federal government allow states to proceed with such projects?

Why shouldn’t states develop the natural ports available to them if it will benefit the country in the long run?

Keep thinking in the direction of GEJ, PDP, Buhari etc and watch how we all will remain underdeveloped

So South West getting what's best for them means we are afraid of Igbo?

So we shouldn't pursue our Development and start pursueing Development for Igbo?

You guys use to think too Highly of Yourselves

This is good for a short term. Same as all the inland dry ports scattered all over the country. But how many sensible countries with vast sea shore and natural bays will continue to depend on one sea port and several dry ports?

The country don’t trust the Igbos, otherwise why not allow costal states build ports?

We know what is holding us all back but we want to keep on window dressing

And Jonathan a south southerner didn't remember this plan when he was president, why?

Jonathan was busy doing what he thought was most important, pacify the north and get them by his side.

Igbos don’t own the SS. They have tried their best to convince Nigeria that they are different from the SE and maybe, just maybe, they will start being allowed some level of autonomy.

A port in the SS will benefit the Igbos more. A rapid development of the Igbos remain a nightmare to a lot of Nigerians.

What is greedy West?

When they wanted to build the rail line to reach Calabar passing through the SE, didn't Igbo Senators shoot it down so that they can fight Amaechi and Buhari?

The SE has been supporting Saraki. Tell me a single thing the SE got from Saraki's Senate.

The consequences of the politics played by the SE isn't yet clear now. 20 years from now, your children would curse you for mortgaging their futures just to fight, insult, abuse and oppose those indifferent about you.

They are talking of port, you are talking or railway. Because of the Lagos Ibadan railway, they want to build a dry port in Ibadan. However, the others existing ports in the country are non functional.
Where is thy thinking sense?

The Biafra war and perceived Igbo “Arrogance”.

But it is who the Igbos are. They won’t change.

If an “Igbo” carved god decides to go wayward, the community will remind her the wood out of which she was carved.

That is why there can never be a Tinibu in Igboland.

Funny, but if Atiku had a Yoruba VP, Igbos would have voted for him still.

It need a willing government that will like to develop the entire Nigeria
like South Africa is doing in their country. They may like to do it but FG will block it through greedy west.

South Africa have six standard ports, if you live in Capetown you don't need to go all the way to Durban to clear your goods. If Nigeria is serious country that want to provide job to the youth, somebody that live in Aba dont need to go to lagos to clear his goods where there is Calabar, PH or Onitsha that is nearby. The same with someone in Kano and other part of the north, you clear your goods in Kaduna port.

Goods are shipped to the ports where the importer wants it shipped, do not blame the government...
BTW, if commercially viable, goods can also be landed in Lagos on big oceanliners and then re-shipped to various other ports in smaller vessels.
