A reputable Hospital in Ilorin requires the Service of a qualified Medical doctor and Matron to fill up the position of Medical officer i/c and matron in charge

Qualification:
1. MBBS from a well-recognized educational Institution (Doctor).
2. Nursing/midwifery from recognized institution (Diploma or BSc).


Experience (Doctor):
Minimum of five (5) years working experience, Speaks Yoruba, English and Hausa. Surgical experience is an advantage and also registered with NMA. Computer Knowledge would be an added advantage.


Age: 25 to 40 years (Male / Female).

Job Description
• Undertaking patient consultations and physical examinations
• Organizing workloads
• Performing surgical procedures
• Providing general pre- and post-operative care
• Monitoring and administering medication
• Assessing and planning treatment requirements
• Liaising daily with staff including other doctors, non-medical management staff and healthcare professionals
• Writing reports and maintaining records
• Promoting health education.



Experience (Nursing/midwifery):
Minimum of 10 -15 years working experience. Computer Knowledge would be an added advantage.

Improving cleanliness in the area of the hospital, preventing hospital acquired infection, improving standards of clinical care and treating patients with dignity and respect.
In addition, responsible for leading by example, ensuring that staffing levels meet patient needs, empowering nurses to take on a wider range of clinical tasks, ensuring that patients’ nutritional needs are met, improving wards for patients and resolving problems for patients and their relatives by building close relationships with them.
