The value for life in the North has to increase.

1. Niger Deltan militant as ruthless as they are were not
killing their neighbours. Same cannot be said of Boko
Haram.

2. Even a beggar in the South has a home. Children are
almost never left on their own.

3. No President will win re election in the South should BH
and Zamfara killings be going in the South. "he has tried"
will not work here provided it is related to lives. Matter of
fact, Jonathan lost the support of the South because of Boko
Haram killings which was not in the South.

4. It is not strange to see a mother crossing the road in the
North without holding her little child. I am over 30 years old
and I have not seen this even ONCE here in the South.
People you do not know can BEAT you up for trying
something less than that nonesnse here. If you don't carry
your child well sef they will curse you.

5. Some Bini families were allowing their daughters be
trafficked abroad for prostitution, but as soon as death was
involved the same Bini people made so much issue of
human trafficking it became a National issue. A lot of
Southerners may be morally bankrupt and extremely selfish,
but death is not something the average Southerner plays
with.

6. That we take death and life lightly in the North is
reflective in our drivers drive. You enter a bike in Arewa and
it is as thought the bikeman is trying to die. I have seen
drivers reach the end of their metre WHILE going bumper to
bumper in a very bad road in the North. Not a single person
in the vehicle raised alarm. I did and was laughed at by
young girls of about 18 years old. This is an alarming
culture!

7. It is this attitude Northern leaders take to power. How
else do you explain the killing of hundreds in Zaria and not
a single person was reprimanded? How do you explain a
President cracking jokes over tens of people dying
everyday? It is the same attitude which must stop.

NB: When we say lives are not valued, the victims are also
Northerners so ordinarily there should be no anger from my
Northern brothers. But then I know better. Addressing these
issues makes you a marked man. We will address them
anyway. After all when it comes to the issue in the South I
will not shy away from citing the North as a worthy
example.

Also, saying this is the case about ALL Northerners is not
only false but madness. When a society has a problem it
has never meant everyone in that society is guilty. It only
means it is rampant.

We must never shy away from stating the problems. People
will get angry today and then begin to look inward
tomorrow. That is progress.
