There are two major ways to gain admission in Nigerian Universities which are; JAMB exams or Direct entry(IJMB/JUPEB)
IJMB/JUPEB are equivalent to OND/NCE, but IJMB/JUPEB are held just for nine months unlike OND/NCE which is held for about three years.

TASUED POST JAMB registration to begin on Monday 17th of June, 2019

OAU, UI, UNILAG adopt 200 as their cut off marks for POST JAMB eligibility.


1.Note despite the minimum 160 benchmark earlier announced by JAMB, some Universities will still stick to their usual cut off marks, this is to ensure unusual large percentage of students from writing the POST UTME who will eventually still not make the admission.Though, some universities may lower their cut off mark to ; 160, 170, 180, but this doesn't make any difference since the admission is still going to be the aggregate of the JAMB and POST UTME scores.

2. Don't expect the POST UTME questions to be the same with your UTME subjects. Most Universities are now tilting towards ; Maths, English language, Current Affairs, Verbal and Quantitative reasoning, with the large preponderance of the varsities going for Maths, English and Current Affairs.

3.It will be unwise of 'YOU' to choose a University that you have no knowledge of their admission process.What do I mean by this!
(a)Do the varsity conduct POST UTME (eg UI, OAU, UNILAG) OR is it screening (eg FUOYE)?
(b)How is the aggregate score arrived at ; does it involve addition of JAMB SCORE + POST UTME + O LEVEL (OAU, UNILAG, FUTA) OR JAMB SCORE +POST JAMB ONLY (UI, OOU, DELSU, TASUED)

4.Compare the last two years departmental cut off marks for your chosen course with a PROJECTED SCORE in the POST JAMB if it will be Good enough to place you for admission into the varsity. If not opt for change of course/institution.

This is to invite all UTME/DE candidates in the under listed categories for the 2019/2020 Pre-Admission Screening Registration into Kwara State University, Malete (KWASU):

1.Those whose choice of Institution (First or Second) is Kwara State University, Malete; and
2.Those interested in Admission into Kwara State University, Malete (KWASU) but have not made it their choice.

All candidates must have Five (5) O’Level credits in subjects at not more than two (2) sittings. Candidates awaiting O’Level results can also apply but they will not be considered for admission until their results are available.

Online registration starts from Tuesday, 11thJune 2019.

REGISTRATION FEES: Candidates are required to pay the sum of Two Thousand Naira (N 2,000.00) only as Screening Fee.

ONLINE REGISTRATION AND PAYMENT INSTRUCTION

1.Visit http://myportal.kwasu.edu.ng/applicant/register, click “Create account” button.
2.Fill in the Application form, by entering your details
3.provide your Names
4.provide your phone number
5.provide your valid email address
6.Under Academic Program, select Undergraduate (Regular)
7.Under “Mode of Entry”, select UTME or DE as applicable to you
8.Under “Mode of Study”, select Full Time
9.Under “Centre” select KWASU
10.Click Register
11.On the next page, click save and proceed to payment
12.On the “PRE – ADMISSION SCREENING REGISTRATION FEE” page, Check and keep the payment details generated and click “Make Payment”
13.On the “CONFIRM PRE – ADMISSION SCREENING REGISTRATION FEE”, click ““Pay Now””
14.On the payment platform displayed, enter your card details and click the “Pay”
15.Once your payment is successful, you will be automatically directed to your registration page where you can complete other stages.
16.After completing the registration stages, it is important to print your Registration Form and Payment Receipt.
17.If you have successfully paid, and wish to continue your registration stages later, you should just login directly using the username and password sent to you via email and SMS, to access your registration portal.
In addition to all the requirements above, all candidates must know that final admission into the University is based on meeting the University’s and the Academic Programme’s cut off points in UTME as set, and also on the availability of spaces within the NUC approved admission quota for Kwara State University, Malete (KWASU).
