For those of us that were born in South East, there is an easily made local uncooked soup we call "NDERE" (I don't know what you call it elsewhere). It is made as a quick fix soup to quench hunger. It can be eaten with cassava pudding (akpu or 6-to-6).  The ingredients (If I could still remember) are: 1. Nchu anwu (scent leaves) 2. Ogiri (local Maggi) 3. Crayfish and/or dried fish (azu ikpo) 4. Water 5. Salt All the ingredients mixed are pounded on a mortar, using a pestle and adequate water is added to the mixture and it is served with fufu. This soup isnt cooked. Who else has eaten it?
