Senator Shehu Sani, member representing Kaduna Central Senatorial District in the National Assembly, has stated that the Northern political and religious leaders are now acting like lambs in the present administration of President Buhari.

Sani, was speaking at the spate of killings in the Northern Nigeria. He said, during the past administration of Goodluck Jonathan, the same Northern leaders behaved like Tigers, attacking the then President for allegedly doing nothing.

Reacting through his twitter handle, over the increase of killings in the North by armed bandit, Sani wondered why the Northern religious and political leaders are keeping mute.

He wrote;

"When killings in the north happened under the last administration,political and religious leaders from the north behaved like Tigers in putting pressure on the Government to act;Under this administration,they are as ‘fierce’ as a lamb".

Shehu sani was begged by GEJ to help negotiate with Shekau in 2013 when the killings were too much to bear but he declined even when he was the only lawyer that Shekau had then.

Shehu like Buhari was part of the Fulani elites that groomed Boko haram to where they are today.

He is saying the truth. He saw how religious leaders preaching in Hausa are blaming the killings in Zamfara on gold mining, rather on failure of government to provide security.
