LUKE'S LETTER HAD A RECIPIENT
"The former treatise have I made, O Theophilus, of all that Jesus began both to do and teach, Until the day in which he was taken up, after that he through the Holy Ghost had given commandments unto the apostles whom he had chosen: To whom also He shewed himself alive after his passion by many infalliable proofs, being seen of them forty days, and speaking of the things pertaining to the Kingdom of God" -Acts 1:2,3KJV.
Luke was very sure of his Testimony and had no better recipient to witness his message to but most excellent Theophilus.
He believe addressing the King will secure and make his Testimony a national one.
He was of the same surety with Paul who wished to witness before Caesar.
If these men were not sure of their Testimonies, they won't seek the Kings.
Their Testimonies were not fabricated but faithful and true.
Emperor Constantine of Rome received witnesses in his days.
King James of England received witnesses in his days.
If those witnesses were void of understanding they wouldn't have requested the Kings. This shows they were sure and convinced about their Testimony. Do you know that the Testimony is real? Amen.
