bro I know it breaks your heart whenever you remember how you wasted your time pursuing a career fruitlessly. But some people went to school but feel the would have made it in their talent . Life has no formula but we just have to pray and keep moving..

I gave football my all, stopped schooling after my waec because of football, I and my precious late mom were duped twice because of football, I have a perpetual hip injury even till now because of football and when I decided to stop playing football and go to school after my third attempt at the embassy to travel out my mom died all because of football. I hate football now even though I still watch it but I can't forget with all my talent how football made a mockery of my life. But with God we would still Excel and still make it in life. So if you have a younger one if you can't send him out of the country to an academy in Europe just tell him to go to school or learn a trade or he would live in regrets at least I am still well to do and trying to be someone I have friends that their life is nothing to right home about because we gave the beautiful game our all. Enough of my rants jare.
Take heart bro
Am also a young footballer i gave it my all but my family aint financially buoyant i had to live football to go learn a handiwork

Sorry this happened to you but even playing professional football in Europe isn't as easy as many people think it to be. One should just never choose a career where they have to be among the top 1 percent to make it you should choose something where you can be average and still earn well. I wish you luck in whatever you do.

Sportdab:
A distraught referee burst into tears at the sight of a Senegal Goalkeeper double leg break, MySportDab reports.

Bamlak Tessema, an Ethiopian official, was spotted crying after the horrific injury during Horoya AC’s African Champions League quarterfinal.

Horoya AC lost their goalkeeper Khadim Ndiaye after he suffered a double leg break after colliding with his own team-mate.

The injury to Senegal international Ndiaye followed an attempted slide tackle to clear the ball from goal.

Unfortunately team-mate Boubacar Samassekou had the same idea and the incident resulted in the former's broken leg.

The incident against Wydad Casablanca visibly left Ndiaye's team-mates stunned as he laid stricken on the floor during their 5-0 defeat.

That’s what sloppy defending and defenders do they make miscalculated, sloppy and dangerous tackles for no sensible reason.

Hey brother, we are in the same boat. I played football then for fun. I never knew something could come up until an Agent came to watch us play on a Saturday morning. I was lucky to be among the 8 players selected that day.

He asked us if we had our International Passport. Only one guy then had it. He told us to come with any of our Parents or Guardian the following Monday. I came with my elder brother.

My parents couldn't take that risk to allow me go because I was still very young then. It became more difficult because I gained admission into the University that same week.

Do I regret not playing football professionally? It goes both ways because the pendulum could have swung either in my favour or against me. By the way, what was your position?

I was a center back bro but in the model of a David Luis kind of a center back. Could play as a defensive midfielder because I was very skillful with the ball at my feet
