In Dubai; We have nothing, Nigeria have enough resources (agriculture, mining, etc.) but didn't have true leadership.. Nigeria Leaders are corrupt

He said ‘Nigeria is richer than us in OIL, but we are richer than Nigeria in LEADERSHIP’

Bitter truth from Dubai...

WHAT A LOAD OF RUBBISH

This is how you dumb goats end up in slavery in Libya.

UAE is not rich today because they have ''incorruptible leaders''. THAT'S A LAUGH.

Go to Millionaires Row in London, and places like Beverly Hills and Monaco, and see how much billions of dollars 'oil sheikhs' from the UAE, Saudi, Kuwait etc, have siphoned from their countries to enrich themselves and live like kings.

The ONLY THING that saves them from popular revolt is the vast oil reserves they hold, much larger than Nigeria's - plus the TINY populations they have in their countries. UAE for instance has less than 10 million people, with 3 times Nigeria's oil and gas reserves.

So they can afford to loot the oil revenues while still keeping their populations happy.

So kindly USE YOUR HEAD next time before posting ignorant rubbish online.

Nigeria has charlatans and impostors in leadership at most levels .

how can a candidate running for an election in Nigeria use integrity as his selling point instead of his achievements in career, inventions ,things of the corporate world.

Dubai don't have oil....
the guy is right
despite little natural resources, the leader of Dubai virtually turned a mere desert to a global tourist attraction....
attracting 15 million people and billions of dollars in revenue....

actually u r wrong. endeavour to use your own brain

sure saudi and dubai etc have greedy leaders too but our problem in Nigeria is the very name Nigeria holding two fundamentally different people together

if north and south were to split today, you would have more accountability in both regions

its because of this unholy amalgamation that Nigeria is doomed.

igno citizenry can hold igbo leadership accountable with an igbo center and

hausa citizenry can hold hausa leadership accountable with an hausa centre

True.

The superfluous waste of wealth in the gulf states is disgusting.
Their saving grace is that their population compared to their astonishing oil wealth is very small.
They can afford to waste so much and still have enough to go round as surplus.

A real Niger delta country if there ever will be one.

Pardon?

Yes, Dubai don't have any significant oil....
Dubai oil output is around 50000 to 70000 barrels per day which is comparable to ondo state oil output....
The emirate's share in the UAE's total gas revenues is about 2%.......
Dubai's oil reserves have diminished significantly and are expected to be exhausted in 20 years.......
UAE's oil wealth lies in abu dhabi and other emirati....
and unlike Nigeria, they practice confederation system of government....
u keep what u earn and contribute to a national purse to fund joint institution....
whatever people may say...
kudos to the leaders for an ambitious effort in the transformation of Dubai....

Bros why are you wasting your time educating semi literate people. Most Nigerians suffer from Stockholm Syndrome. This should be clearly obvious to you. We love our abusers and would defend them with our last breathe. 50 years from now Nigeria will still be the same way and Nigerians will still be supporting their inept government.

To turn Nigeria into Dubai or Singapore in 20 years from now, close down the majority of MDA'S focus on free compulsory basic primary and secondary education, invest in healthcare and infrastructure that would primarily support education and healthcare delivery. Tax higher income people, open up our markets to international competition and just fold your arms and watch this country flourish. This is all it basically takes. But then we have always been ruled by semi literate people, who value roads, bridges, and houses them their fellow citizens.

Well, if you are going to divide the UAE up like that, we can do the same for Nigeria. As we speak, Nigeria is building its own 'Dubai' in a place called EKO ATLANTIC, Lagos.

Ever heard of it?

Before that, it also built a ''semi-Dubai'' in a place called ABUJA, which is renowned as one of Africa's wealthiest and most beautiful cities.

So the thing you are looking for in SOKOTO, is right here in your SHOKOTO.

You should be looking to CAPITALIZE on these places, instead of drooling over foreign lands.

Please read slowly or read multiple times to comprehend. DUBAI is not funded by OIL money. Only 4 PERCENT of The UAE's oil wealth resides in Dubai, yet Dubai is arguably the richest emirate because of its amazing leaders. This is common knowledge. Stop embarrassing yourself. Abuja was created out of Niger Delta oil. Stop comparing apples to oranges.

But Lagos is building Eko Atlantic, and it's not funded by oil money, and Lagos is not an oil-producing state.

The VERY SAME THING you see happening there in Dubai is what is happening here with Lagos and Eko Atlantic. But you are too fixated on worshiping white people and Arabs to notice developments in your own backyard.

If I show you a graph of inequality in UAE, you will run. The wealth there is enjoyed only by the ruling royal family and their cohorts. It is actually written into their laws that x.x.x billion dollars goes to Sheikh this or Sheikh that's account every month.

The ONLY thing that stops the people starving is that they are few in number, so are easily fed.
