Between 2010 and 2019, judging by inflation rate of 11% annually, the previous N18,000 minimum wage is worth N50,000. Paying anything less would mean stealing from workers.

Also, a bill should be passed for a mandatory minimum wage review every 5 years if inflation rate remained at double digits.

The Federal and State government chief executives who cannot afford to pay the minimum wage should resign and look for other jobs to do.
