Distance does not necessarily refer to being separated by space it could be emotional distance, a disconnect of two people who are feet apart the person could be right next you and so if it is meant to be a relationship or if you are meant to be with someone there should not be that feeling of being alone or apart.
If this person was destined to be your person no matter the trails and tribulations or physical distance it will happen.
