The club would slowly rebuild. The fans shouldn't expect any major trophy at least for the next five seasons. The name United no longer command the fear and respect it once had to attract big players neither is the greenhorn Ole. This is where they would miss the Jose effect. Give Jose an open cheque and watch him conjure machines and humans.

I bet you would not be posting this if they had made top 4. The truth of the matter is that United problem is more deep-rooted than even Ole could understand. There are too many average players in the team and their incompetency is rubbing off on the other quality players. From the attacking line down to the defence and the goalkeeper, it's all rubbish. De gea might have been one of the best in the past but I still believe he is not the right man to man the goal post for Man United. His mistakes deprived the team of some vital points. Same can be said of Jones, smalling, Young, Fred, Lingard, and even Rashford. The English players at United are 100% useless and should never have made it to that club. As for the coach, I think next season will reveal who he truly is and what he is capable of. He appears to be a good preacher but a terrible tactician. The players' lackluster attitude perhaps began when Ole confirmed to the press that the club will be doing business in the summer. Let's just hope he will get it right next season.
