Delta Force pulled one of the biggest win in the week 19 of the Nigeria Professional Football League, when they beat El Kanemi Warriors of Maiduguri 2-0 to the their long unbeaten record.

Delta Force are the underdog going into the game due to El-Kanemi Warriors impressive home records over the years , but they got the win in a dramatic fashion.

Ufuoma Ajamikoko opened the scoring with two minutes after the half hour mark after as El-Kanemi’s defence was breached .

The Babaganaru boys however started piling the pressure on the visitors but they weren’t unable to get the equaliser.

Delta Force got the the winner in the 9th minutes of additional time after 90 minutes, Egbo Otukhe was the goalscorer as Delta Force defy the odds and picked the maximum points.

It’s the first home league.defeat for El-Kanemi Warriors Fc’s since 1,139 days and the slipped to third in the process on the NPFL Group A log.
