I went to the following places in Abuja:
Nysc secretariat,Gowon house.

I managed to enter inside despite strict security and questions from civil defence and soldiers.

I climbed to the last floor ie the 6th floor.

There I saw the DG NYSC who had just arrived with soldiers and few civilians

I went into Federal high court opposie the Nysc sec to use the ATM.

I went to eagles square but was afraid to enter because of the military parade inside.

Opposite eagle square is Tafawa balewa house.

A stone throw from eagle square is Federal secretariat which i entered.

Subsequently,i went to Zako plaza and bought drinks which are squeezed from water melon and oranges.

By God's help i visited many places in Abuja like Asokoro district,Bayelsa state guest house,

I passed by NIPC where i observed the Transcorp hilton hotel.

I counted the number of the floor to be 10

Visited the corporate affair commission.

Also visited NCC near NIPC. Visited NEPC.

In most cases,i observed the building from the gate.

It is hard to go inside some of them without genuine reason because of security.

Visited so many places which i cant write due to space and time

Waooo!!! I enjoyed your write up, it's interesting. I enjoyed traveling too, in fact I don't sleep while on transit because I would want to take note of the towns/villages I passed.

After I reached Enugu at night,I slept in one hotel at the back of peace mass transit bus stop.

There was heavy down pour of rain in Enugu in the night

They charged N2500 in the hotel.

In the morning,I went to view the town before departing for Abia

At Aba in Abia,I viewed the town for 3 hours.

I entered Abia state university.

I entered 2 different markets in the interior/villages of Abia.

I went to one village in Abia state.

I started going inside the village but soon went out.

It could be dangerous to go too deep.

I asked one man the name of the village.

He did not know the name.

I took 3 different keke ride to get to Abia line park in the town.

Inside the park is AKTC.

Few metres from the park i boarded a bus.

Told the driver to drop me at Etim Ekpo.

On the route to uyo from Aba in Abia state,I experienced a different weather entirely.

Oh! How i love this climate!

Because of my stay in kano,i have come to appreciate the weather of Akwa ibom state.

I love this weather.

It is so different from the weather of northern Nigeria.

The road is somehow narrow compare to the ones up north.

The forest on the road side is predominated by palm trees, coconut trees and cassava trees

It gives some unique pleasure to the eyes.

On the highways in north,i observed the trees were short and there were spaces between them.

You could see the sky falling at a distance. That is a savannah

But here the forest is thick and you cannot see the sky falling. This is rainforest

Godswill akpabio international stadium although locked and people not able to enter.

It stood magnificient in beauty

Safe trip...

Traveling through the Nigerian road is not fun for me. From the bad road,, to time wasting traffic,, Frsc staffs that will be collecting #200 without checking if your break light is working .. A police officer that will stop d car and search each and everyone in the car including your luggage.
D worst of it all is seeing a Nigerian army @ check point carrying AK47 while putting on bathroom slippers or palm sandals
If you make up your mind that you will enjoy your journey,so will it be.

If you have the philosophy that your journey is the destination,
God will open a way for you to enjoy the journey

Enjoy when you can because to enjoy yourself is part of righteousness

Even Jesus ate and drank and travelled.

The ignorant jews called him a glutton and win bibber.

But He was practising righteousness by doing so.

On Sunday, the 2nd of September 2019,I have another journey to make.

SOKOTO TO UYO

I just finished my course work examination.

This examination took me all the way from Uyo in Akwa Ibom to Sokoto some days ago.

But now,I have to go home and visit my people.

I will enjoy the journey well well because I do not have any more examination to worry about.

My mind will be at rest as I observed our beautiful country from Sokoto enroute Uyo

I will try as best I can to document the journey.

As I think about the journey, my joy has known no bound.

On sunday as I travel from Sokoto to Akwa ibom,I need to be posting the images of the journey on nairaland.

But I have a problem: How do I post it from the images that I will snap and store on my phone?

Any time I go to reply section, after the submit button, there are boxes at the sides of which it is written 'choose'. That means one should choose a file/pictures and photos

When I click the boxes, nothing seems to happen.

Please can someone describe how to move a picture stored on a phone to nairaland?

Otherwise I may have to document the journey without attaching any pictures.

You know that in travel section, everyone appreciates pictures.

Please if you chance upon this my write-up,reply me if you know the answer.

I will be expecting a reply

Thank you

Kaduna to Abuja

After viewing kaduna for sometime,

I took bus by 6:04pm and started going to Abuja.

I can recall few villages/towns/structure on the double lane Kaduna-Abuja highway.

This highway is notorious for kidnapping.

But GOD saw us through the following villages/towns/structures:

Barakat Farm

kumbo farm

Dutse

Open Heaven Alheri camp around 137km from zuba (in Abuja)

sabon sara village

Doka

Gidan bussa village

Then the sign "Welcome to Igwa sarki" on the road side

The forest on the road side is not as thick as the ones in southern Nigeria.

In some places, there are open savannah

We arrived Abuja by past 9pm.

I am currently in Abuja this night

Tommorrow I will continue the journey by GOD's grace

Ok

But even as notorious as kaduna-abuja highway is for kidnapping,

there was still much vehicular movements on the highway yesterday

Yesterday at rigasa train station in kaduna,I could not get a ticket because of the crowd

In fact the crowd was too much such that even when the passengers were getting into the train for the journey,

hundreds of people were stranded due to lack of ticket

They say it is due to the fear of kidnappers on the kaduna-abuja highway.

But GOD saw me through the highway yesterday
