Manchester United could be forced to pay Alexis Sanchez £12million next season NOT to play for them.

The Chile striker has flopped since moving from
Arsenal to Old Trafford 16 months ago, in a deal that saw him sign a four-and-a-year contract at £500,000-per-week.

And after scoring just one Premier League goal in his only full season, United are desperate to shift Sanchez off the books this summer.

Inter Milan are interested, with the most likely prospect a season-long loan deal that would see United paying half of his wages - £250,000-per week - to play in Italy.

Inter have been sounded out by agents on a deal to get Sanchez out and to help Ole Gunnar Solskjaer begin his rebuilding plans.

Solskjaer has already identified transfer targets but has too many players in the squad and knows he will have to offload some big earners to strengthen in different departments.

Inter could also be a destination for Romelu Lukaku while former United defender Patrice Evra believes that Paul Pogba will leave in the close season and complete a move to Real Madrid .

United would like to sell Sanchez but his wages are a massive stumbling block which is why they are having to look at either subsidising his contract or writing off a transfer fee.

Real Madrid want Pogba, with Evra, who speaks to his compatriot every day, convinced the midfielder has played his last game for the Reds.

Pogba, United’s record £89million signing, clashed with fans after Sunday’s abject 2-0 defeat at home to relegated Cardiff , with Evra admitting the backlash will see him leave Old Trafford.

Because what has happened is that since Ferguson left, players have identified United as the club to go and collect bogus salary while doing almost nothing.
