Microsoft Corporation Visits Abuja, Launches Africa Development Centre In Lagos by postbox: 12:07pm On May 20, 2019
Microsoft Corporation visited the Nigerian Investment Promotion Commission (NIPC) on Friday, May 18, to discuss their plans for Nigeria. The Microsoft delegation was led by the Executive Vice-President of Gaming, Phil Spencer and was received by the Executive Secretary/CEO of NIPC, Ms Yewande Sadiku.

They also visited the Vice President, Prof Yemi Osinbajo.

They returned to Lagos for the launch of the Africa Development Centre, the 7th to be established. Earlier this week, the company opened an Africa Development Centre in Nairobi. The establishment of the Centres demonstrates the company’s long-term interest in creating global centres for software development and engineering on the continent.

The company plans to spend more than $100 million over five years and hire 100 engineers by the end of the year, and 500 by 2024. A mixed reality team of 10 has already been hired in Lagos.

You really have a lot to learn if you truly believe this, as nothing could be further from the truth. This announcement is just a drop in the ocean compared to what Microsoft and many other companies have invested in India's Bangalore. Nigeria under Buhari has actually seen a free-fall in the rate of foreign investment.

What you call "bad belle" is simply speaking the truth. You seem to forget that it was Bill Gates, the founder of this very same Microsoft, who lambasted this Buhari government for failing so badly at investing in human capital. In truth, if Nigeria had a serious government, this sort of "news" wouldn't even be worth noticing - a few hundred jobs in Lagos is nothing, in a country with nearly 200 million people, most of whom are young and in their prime for work.

But nevertheless if they reject the proposal. Do we have anything to do

Nigerians have been pirating Microsoft products for years. Entire businesses run completely on pirated software. Otigba is the headquarters. The thing has tire Microsoft. Na im them carry their self here to come and find ways of catching boys.
What they need is for you to use Four hundred and Twenty (420) of your Naira, to buy ONE dollar, multiplied by 100 Dollars to buy One CD of windows 7 per each computer.
