Why not just move everything over to June 12 haba

They have to amend the constitution in order to do that. The constitution says that Buhari has a 4 year tenure. He was sworn in on May 29th, 2015.

Rubbish! The President just had to follow through on his June 12 promise. The fact that it is still being talked about shows it wasn't properly thought out.

So you will invite foreign dignitaries on June 12 to celebrate what exactly when the President had already been sworn in?

Exactly. What makes democracy day interesting is that the president and governors are sworn in, and have their anniversaries on that day.

Making June 12 a democracy day is rubbish without bringing all those that were involved in June 12 saga, they all walk freely, it is shame on those that celebrate it.

The minister of information, Alhaji Lai Mohammed has just finished addressing a press conference that was broadcast live by the NTA, Radio Nigeria and Voice of Nigeria. He said:

1) President Buhari will be sworn in on May 29th.

2) The inauguration will be a low key event.

3) All the foreign dignitaries that would have been invited to attend the inauguration will be invited to attend an event on June 12 (Democracy Day).

4) Both May 29 and June 12 are public holidays.

Nigeria government with public holidays very soon we will ran out of 365days in normal year for holidays. Instead of being productive.

This is not for the hard working Nigerians...is public holidays mostly meant for those ass politicians and people in government that don't know what they're doing.

If our country's economy keep shutting down each time an holiday is declared, Where are we getting the balance from...? Clueless leadership in this country of ours...
