26-year-old Wura Adewura Latifat Bello, an accounting graduate from the University of Lagos (UNILAG), who has been missing since last week, has been found dead in a canal, according to her family member.

Wura who lives in Gowon Estate near Egbeda in Lagos, disappeared on her way back from work at Ikeja.

Adewura was declared missing by her parents after leaving her office in Lagos on May 15th, 2019.

This corroborates the story of a Twitter user who said she was found dead in Mosan canal area during the heavy downpour on Wednesday last week.

this is really disheartening... I pray God will grant the family to bear this irreparable loss. Raining season is here again, everyone should please be careful whether driving, biking or trekking... bad visibility during rain is very dangerous. it is advisable to stay in a place when it's raining until the downpour subsides. May we not be victim of climate change.

This was a case of gross negligence which took an otherwise promising life.
This news should make front page so other members can see what finally became of the woman.


Edit: I was beginning to fear as I hadn’t seen Error 502 for three days now.
I almost thought this forum was moving up in standard to compete against global brands.

We are almost hopeless in this country not because we are not smart and capable Bt because we do not have the right discussions in this country.

You are being nice. “Highly intelligent” is too serious a word to use here. Are they intelligent, let alone highly intelligent? They just know speed, speed, speed. Driving on F1 style in a busy road.

Oh such a beautiful girl, many times this commuters drivers don't listen when you tell them it will be like you are too scared that they have been driving/riding for a long time and they have all the experience. I wouldn't have accepted if I heard people warning him if e like make e complain my life first and I have done so many times, always trust my instinct.
