Go and sit down..

Nobody can buy FX for N305 Naira...

Only banks buy FX for a maximum amount of $500k per day for all banks..

It's a pity you don't realise what you say supports some of my assertions. And at what price do you think they resell it for?

I don't hate Buhari but if the most honest person in the world tells me that 1+1= 4, I'll urge sich a person to brush up his maths.

Same goes for honest Buhari regarding economics.

$500k USD a day is a miniscule amount of money..

No bank will risk sanction by round tripping FX where they will only make less N30 Million.

This is very sad, passing 2019 budget in the 2nd quarters of the year clearly shows that we lack planning, discipline .Now when are we going to implement this late budget 100%.Both the executive and the legislatures are bunch of failure and the are totally ignorant on budgeting and administration.

There is no population control in some states. Some states can't even generate N100 million annually which is very bad. This is the the problem when you have too many states e.g Zamfara State. Our budget cannot avoid 36 states. It is costly and not smart. Some small states should be aborbed by bigger state to eliminate cost and save money.

Yes u are right theres no population control in many states. Also IGR is low in some states but d federal budget isn't meant 2 complement d resources or IGR of any state. D budget of d FG is meant to execute d campaign promises of d president and d constitutional responsibilities of d FG. This it does thru d several ministries under d supervision of d president. States are meant to generate their own revenue and draw up how they will spend their yearly budgets. That's y Nigeria is a federal state.

President Muhammadu Buhari has signed the 2019 Appropriation bill of N8.91 trillion into law few weeks after it was passed by the National Assembly.

The budget consists of N4.65 trillion recurrent expenditure, N2.94 trillion capital expenditure, statutory transfer of N502.58 billion, N2.25 trillion for debt servicing.

In his remarks after passing the budget, Senate President Bukola Saraki praised the committee and fellow senators for their contributions to the passage of the bill and tasked executive to ensure its full implementation.

He said: “I want to thank our colleagues, particularly for their understanding and for us to be able to meet today’s deadline in passing the bill and (I) thank the Committee on Appropriation too.”

“I hope that with this budget passed, the Executive will also ensure the full implementation of the budget for the benefit of Nigerians as a whole.”

Signing budget midyear.

Everything in nigeria is a joke, from President to Governors to Senators to Reps to chairmen to INEC to JAMB to EFCC to CBN to NNPC to IBDC to NFF to NTA. I think before the trumpet sounds we may gets it right.

Distraction too much in this thread.

The implication of Section 11 of the 2016 Appropriation Act is that the legislature purports to have exercised the power to change the financial year. But , the National Assembly did not fix any new and definite time frame. It made it specific to the 2016 Appropriation Act which runs out in 12 months from the date of assent .
