IPOB Sit-at-home: Ebonyi Witnesses Zero Compliance by Nobody: 3:05pm On May 30, 2019
Despite several threats by the Independent People of Biafra, IPOB to shut down South-East and South-South today following its sit-at-home order, there was zero compliance in Ebonyi state capital as economic activities, vehicular movement and individuals were hitche-free.

When Leadership visited some of the commercial centers and markerts in Abakaliki and it’s environs, it was also observed that business activities went on smoothly without any intimidation or harrasment from the Pro-Biafra group. At the mechanic village, the building material market, kpirikpiri market, Abakaliki Timber market and that of Ekeaba market, all the shops were seen open and carrying on with their commercial activities except a few that did not open because of one problem or another.

At the Ebonyi State University and that of Alex Ekwueme Federal University Ndufu Alike Ikwo academic activities went on smoothly while Banking and transportation operations along Afikpo and Ogoja road were all in it’s full scale operations in the state.

Meanwhile, over 2000 members of the Akubaraoha Youth Assembly led by the Former Special Adviser on Youth Mobilization to Governor David Umahi, Comrade Mark Onu as early as 8am converged at the Ebonyi Hotel premises from where they marched round the Abakaliki capital city to ensure total clampdown on the Biafra agitators.

According to the Youth Leader, the move was to ensure that no IPOB member uses the period to intimidate or harass residents of the state from going about their normal business adding that they also used the oppotunity advised traders not to close their shops as the sit-at-home order is not in the interest of Igbos.

Though the movement created traffic logjams along the ever-busy Afikpo road, Ogoja road and that of Nkaliki road, the directive of the outlawed secessionists was not noticed in the state.

Already, as earlier as 6a.m, men of the state police command were seen at strategic places to povide total security for the citizenry. Meanwhile, the state Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Loveth Odaa noted that men of the command carried out operation show of force within the state capital and it’s environs. She also added that the order was a total failure in the state, as no member of the Biafra was seen anywhere during their show of force.

The police spokesman however urged members of the public to report any member of the outlawed group identified anywhere carrying the activities of Biafra in the state so that the culprit will be arrested and prosecuted.

Whether zero or 100% Compliance, Biafra has come to stay. We'll not rest until we're free.
Any well meaning Easterner would not want to be associated with Nigeria.

To you, it's very far. But to us, it's a done deal. We won't continue having greedy Leaders in the East forever. Soon selfless leaders will be enthroned and the Biafra will come even faster than anyone ever imagined. I bet you.
Many people have done it before us. Our own will not be a different story.

Biafra has come to stay.

What we'll do is to pass a circular around the states "Don't vote any legislature that will not go to floor of the senate to debate Referendum".

This will have a 100% Compliance.
If you don't sponsor any bill about Referendum, you will never be voted again.
It will work.
Just sit and watch us achieve it effortlessly

You have been saying this for the past 50 years and all you've gotten to show for it is a litter of dead bodies. The sooner you Igbos realize that the Nigerian state can crush you in an instant the better for you. Biafra my foot

Like I said earlier, we're having a new breed of leaders that have the interest of the people at heart. I can't stop to envy Kogi west for having a fearless Senator as Dino. If we have people like Dino two in the East, Biafra would have been gotten since.
Nevertheless, it's never late.
We shall get there

Imagine another crisis today and Igbos have access to arms.

If they start capturing from the south Boko will start capturing their own Islamic territory from the north which they are praying for.
Imagine how hopeless and helpless the already demoralised Nigerian a army would be..
It won't only be a be a war, but a scramble for Nigeria.n territory ..

Replying the clown that is saying that Nigerian army will crush his father's .

People should be very careful with what they type online because when the chips are down, everbody will be affected.
Igbos are not calling for war .

Op and NgeneUkwunu or whatever should stop this nonsense.

There is 100% compliance in Rivers state. All markets closed. No buses or taxis.

News from other Biafra lands shows total compliance too.

One day it will happen.

Gradually, many are coming to terms with the fact that a genocide took place against the igbo nation in 1966.

If there is nothing else social media and the internet has achieved, it must get the credit for this one.

Leave the naysayers who have left all other 364 days to vomit bile because some choose to remember.

Concentrate on your selfish leaders, none of whom has even taken a little initiative as officially recognising this day.

But in all, be happy baby steps are being taken.

Just take it all with dexterity and eschew vengeance, so that these memories will serve as veritable lessons for everyone who wants to learn, even the descendants of those who partook in mass murderers.

Red lines are being blurred.

And blurred some more they will be.

We either breathe life to this mere geographic expression called Nigeria or exsanguinate it to death
