Here is a video of the ongoing demolition of the Akachi Tower built by Immediate ex Imo state governor, Rochas Okorocha, the order was reportedly given by New Imo state governor, Gov Emeka Ihedeoha who has since come out to debunk that claim. I heard the land was forcefully taken from the owners by Rochas without compensation and they have been to court concerning the issue. They won, but Rochas refused to release the land. So, it seems they were waiting for Rochas to go so they can take possession. The timing of the demolition though ... |
