After systematically decimating the obvious favorite in a fight that was considered 'controversial" by some,'unbelievable' by others and 'outright bullsh*t' by a few others, Andy Ruiz not only shattered the illusion of invincibility surrounding Anthony Joshua. He also took down the veil concealing the true nature of a larger proportion of homo sapiens-viz the innate and reflexive tendency to magnify the NEGATIVE while simultaneously trivializing the POSITIVE.

Following the shocking outcome of the fight, the Internet was agog with people expressing their unsolicited sympathy, annoying pity and unwarranted disappointment in Anthony Joshua for losing his titles to a 'fat midget'. Funny how people who probably stand below 5'8" would refer to a 6'2" man as a midget. Boxing is a sport and in the words of Tyson Fury Boxers 'have their back and forths' no matter how good they are, AJ is no different.

Almost everyone is fixated on AJ's broken record as a result of the loss while ostentatiously neglecting the established record of Andy Ruiz through the win. Last night, Andy emerged as the first person of Mexican Descent to hold the heavyweight championship title. But no one is talking about that because it's the upside of last night's match. People would rather hover over the downside , like vultures over a cadaver.

Truth be said AJ is over rated asf wen i saw the opponent on net at first my confidence (for aj) increased a bit cus of his look but i tend to understand never to judge a book by it cover.

Nevertheless aj is a gud fighter if not he wouldn't have won de title which he lost yesterday

Congrats to Luiz! His dream to be heavyweight champion came true however how shocking and unexpected it might have been..AJ needs to put the defeat behind him and plot for a comeback. Tyson lost to an underdog and bounced back. Lennox lost to an underdog and bounced back..A.J's case wouldn't be different. He'll be champ again in December.
