I've decided to open a new thread, where I'd show you all how to create and operate a fully functional Dropshipping store from Nigeria.

Please note, that this is not a get-rich-quick scheme, it is actually a business model, just like importation business, so you'd be needing some capital. The advantage of this over the importation model is that you don't have to stock products in your house/warehouse and hope that you'd be able to sell all of them, else you'd be at a loss.

I go on to Aliexpress and order the product for $10 and send it to the user, thereby pocketing $20. But I may have to spend some cash on ads, say I spend $10 on Advert to get that sale, that would mean I get to keep $10 Net profit for each sale.

So to make $1,000 profit in sales, you'd need to make 100 sales, which warrants to 3 sales daily for 30 days.

Now, I already have a working Stripe Account and PayPal Account, so I'd need to use someone as a case study.

Here are the requirements for selection

1. Must have a minimum budget of $500 to spend in this business
2. Must have a working Payoneer Account ( a plus if you have a Payoneer Debit Card)
3. Must be willing to take risk
4. Must be willing to learn
5. Must be hardworking, as I may not have the time to do all the work
6. Must have a Facebook Account, as that's where we'd be running most of the ads on
7. Valid means of identification (International Passport will be a plus: You'd need this to verify your PayPal, & Stripe account, when you start receiving past $500)

If you've got all these, kindly reply in the comment section, I'd randomly pick one person and help take the person from $0-$1k while documenting all the steps.

Note I' mean $1k in revenue, which will mean around $300 in profit, which isn't bad for starting out.

You could also make dropshipping work if you start with $300 (about 110k). But you'd have to take out a lot of guessing from the game and will have to go with selling low ticket items and reduce the amount of products you'd be testing. I have a testing strategy for those with low budget ($250-300) to spend on ads. So just stay tuned here, I'd be covering all those.

But whosoever I'm gonna be using must have the $500 budget ready to invest in his store.

N/B: You wouldn't be sending the $500 to me. It will be in your account, we'd start with the 14-days free trial on shopify. So You wouldn't be spending anything on that.

You may have to spend $12.95 in getting a USA Phone number, in order to open stripe
You may have to spend $30 in getting a temporary EIN (You can call the IRS and wait 2 weeks to get it for free, but while waiting, you wanna make do with a temporary one, that wouldn't get your stripe account limited or banned within the 2 weeks, while waiting for an authentic one from the IRS)

Bro I'm really interested in being the "case-study". I have the requirements from no 1 to 6 (including a Payoneer debit card and a verified Lesotho Paypal account). The issue I may have is with Stripe, because the only valid means of ID I have is my PVC and student ID card(lol).

All those interested should take note

The first step is to create a fully functional stripe account, as creating a PayPal account is quite easy. The workload is on the stripe account creation

The prerequisite to creating the stripe account, must be to have a fully functional website, that isn't spammy looking...else after creation, when stripe reviews your website and finds out that your domain isn't even hosted on the web, or you have a scammy looking site or a site without the due policies in place, they may go ahead in banning your account and saying it's high risk and they don't support your business model.

To avoid this, you need your website to be fully functional and have all the policies and necessary pages, from terms of service, privacy policy, shipping and refunds policy, contact us page and about page...and also the home page should be appealing .

All these policies can be easily autogenerated. I'm gonna talk about this tomorrow.

I'm also going to give a link for a 14-Day free shopify trial. Why I like the 14-Day trial, is that it gives You that push to put your all in that 14 Days and you'd actually succeed faster and quicker than those with the 30 Day free trial, or the developer option.

You could also make dropshipping work if you start with $300 (about 110k). But you'd have to take out a lot of guessing from the game and will have to go with selling low ticket items and reduce the amount of products you'd be testing. I have a testing strategy for those with low budget ($250-300) to spend on ads. So just stay tuned here, I'd be covering all those.

I'm have few of the requirements. I have a payoneer account and a payoneer debit card.
I have a confirm US number.
But the valid means of ID is a problem. I don't have international passport yet.
I would love to be inclined with Shopify, as my dropshipping website is not run on Shopify.
I had issues earlier creating a stripe account that's y I solely concentrated on Nigeria mkt. And Nigerians hardly buys product from online shop they are not familiar with.
As for the $500, that money is not yet available.

I've decided to open a new thread, where I'd show you all how to create and operate a fully functional Dropshipping store from Nigeria.

Please note, that this is not a get-rich-quick scheme, it is actually a business model, just like importation business, so you'd be needing some capital. The advantage of this over the importation model is that you don't have to stock products in your house/warehouse and hope that you'd be able to sell all of them, else you'd be at a loss.

For those who don't know what dropshipping is, Dropshipping is a business model whereby a customer visits your online store, places an order for a product, and then after receiving the money, you go ahead to order the product from your supplier (which in most case is Aliexpress), and send it to the consumer, thereby making profit.

Say, for example, I find a product on Aliexpress for $10, and llist it on my store for $30, and a user visits my store, and buys that product. I go on to Aliexpress and order the product for $10 and send it to the user, thereby pocketing $20. Good day everyone, apologies for not updating the post y.day .

We've hit a little stumbling block on the activation of the stripe acct. We tried initiating a test transaction to ensure everything was working and the FCMB Mastercard, Michael used, seemed to have automatically declined the payment, and as such it was recorded as a chargeback on Stripe, and that equates to a 100% chargeback rate, as opposed the acceptable 1% or below.

We've sent a mail to Stripe and expecting their reply within the next 24hours, after which I'd continue with the update on this post.

So far, we've been able to successfully create a PayPal acct and may be using that alone for the whole DS journey, if Stripe decides to be a pain in the ass, which we hope not, so we'll be waiting for their response in the meantime.

As for the PayPal creation, head over to
www.paypal.com/ls/home and create a business PayPal acct . Be sure to always access PayPal through that link to avoid any problem.

While creating a business PayPal acct, be sure to:

1. Use your real details, and don't use a VPN

2. Use your real house address

3. SELECT NATIONALITY AS NIGERIAN

4. When asked for currency, select USD

5. When asked for phone number, change the country flag from lesotho to USA or Nigeria and input your USA or Nigerian phone number....
I'd advise you get a USA phone number from dingtone, textme or skype to use. Cause you'd be calling PayPal frequently and doing so, you have to call with a phone number attached to your Paypal account... Also, calling from a Nigerian number will be hella costly, so a USA Number is advised.
