Huawei isn't backing of from being a major contender in the smartphone industry neither are they shaken by their ban from the Android platform because they haven't stop producing new smartphone even after ban by the US government. Huawei are trying to get their OS ready before the 90-days given to them by the US government is over. Now it seems Huawei not only want to compete with top tiers, Samsung and Apple with their Phone specs and sales alone but now with OS.
