AU can't do that for now, they don't have cooperation amongst her members, and no country will be will to dedicate her troops to invade Sudan.

ECOWAS under the leadership of Nigeria has a better opportunity to carry out such action, did I ever mentioned Sudan has some pretty nice army?

The African Union Peace and Security Council on Thursday took a decision to suspend Sudan from activities of the continental body, until the ongoing political crisis is resolved.

In a statement issued after a crisis meeting was held, the AU demanded the establishment of a Civilian-led Transitional Authority, saying it was the only way to allow the Sudan to exit from the current crisis.

The decision follows an upsurge in violence in Sudan this week as its ruling military council and opposition groups contest the authority to take charge of the transition to democracy.

The government and the opposition have issued contradictory death tolls from Monday’s raid on a protesters camp in the capital Khartoum. While the opposition says the death toll has surpassed 100, Sudan’s health ministry on Thursday said 61 people were killed.

Ask Nigeria to put together 200 000 military men ,
Egypt 100 000,
Algeria 100 000,
Marocco 20 000
Chad : 25 000,
South Africa 40 000,
Angola : 25000,
Ethiopia 80 000
and invade that country to remove the thugs from power.

In the case of Sudan, Saudi Arabia is calling the shot, now their citizens are busy shouting "Mama Africa", they are now calling on other Africans to come to their aid, these where the same set of people claiming to be Arabs some yeas back.

Africa and Asia needs a special kind of democracy which would infuse the authoritarian discipline of monarchy and freedom of democracy to strike a perfect balance.

Democracy might be best for the Europeans, but Africa, Middle east and Asia needs a more stronger system

AU is a hypocritical organization,Right before its eyes and that of the world,the democratically elected government of Robert Mugabe was toppled in a bloodless coup by zimbabwe soldiers,and the army in that country took control,and leta conducted their fradulent election,and reinstated their Right hand man,the AU never said anything or condemned the coup,just because the west wanted Mugabe to go,and supported it,Africa is just like a toy to the west,the still control us up till this moment,Now they are putting mouth for sudan internal issue...Once the west no longer want an african president,it is easy to remove him or her,they will just use the military of the country if they can get them to compromise,If they cant,they will instigate civil unrest in such country,invade the country under the guise of coming in to make peace,and use the opportunity to acheive their aim,Africa needs to wake UP!

for buharis case he is too powerful besides buhari didnt order the massarce even though the guards brigade answer to him,buratai is the one to be probed for the crime but again ICC is not powerful enough america recently just escaped with war crimes right under their noses.nigerians really underestimate nigerias influence internationally.
