Hello Guys,

Thanks for the previous replies, I have another question.

1. My wife is the main applicant
2. I will be accompanying her (we are planning a joint application)
3. I am also the sole sponsor.
4. I have enough money in fixed deposit to cater for ==> the tuition + 10,000 CAD + 4000 CAD

What do you guys think about this scenario ? Any advice/suggestion ?
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 16 by TheInvestor: 4:49pm On Jul 01, 2019
thanks

No it is not necessary. Your choice. It's majorly for people going via paper route. During your online registration you'll have to answer some questions.
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 16 by Mudicua: 4:53pm On Jul 01, 2019
Hmmmm... this case sha... cheesy cheesy cheesy

Please I do not know many things oooo.
So please look at my suggestions objectively. These are just suggestions and what i think and not any experience I have had.

First of all which passport did you use for your undergraduate diploma program? If it is Ghanaian, i will suggest you stick with it. Cos CIC is very thorough with background check as well as travel history.
Again there is no harm in showcasing your dual citizenship. It is allowed in Nigerian and i am guessing Ghana as well. And I think CIC also allows for such information (if you are a citizen of other countries).
As for sponsorship, a company account is a thin thread. (why would a company want to sponsor you). I would rather you use your parents as sponsors or uncle. Not a company.

Best of luck.

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 16 by AkeemTy(m): 7:17pm On Jul 01, 2019
I think your sponsor needs to have a substantial amount as closing balance because that is very important. You should be thinking of millions of naira as closing balance because the final amount in the account is very important as it is the ''show money'' the Visa officer needs to see.
Biot34:
My sponsor has 430k as closing balance But there is Inflow and outflow of 70m: Can I used it

Is there anyone here in University of Regina, Saskatchewan?

I need information on what to do next after getting visa,

It's different methods in different schools I guess.

Hello, you will have to visit this site to register for classes before they get full. https://banner.uregina.ca/prod/sct/twbkwbis.P_WWWLogin
You can also contact your supervisor or advisor to guide you on courses to register.

Online or paper?
It is just 2 weeks old. The average time for all is 9 weeks unless for some re-application cases that comes earlier.

Try University of Regina. Your CGPA can secure a masters program, if they offer the course you want...

Mr frank another disturbance the institution didn't indicate that I pay any deposit of the indicated tuition fees what should I do next? Go ahead and pay any deposit and attached it to my application or the money should be transferred to my account or what I need help?

Sorry for the late reply bro! Since the school didn't require a tuition deposit, you don't have to pay a dime to them. The funds should be transferred to your account that's if you're using a third party. On the contrary that it's your parents that is sponsoring the funds can be in their account.

Can anyone please explain how one would be able to explain a church recommendation as ties to ones country ?

You can use church membership as proof of ties to your home country. The letter should be written on the church official letter headed paper, signed by the head pastor and should state the following;

1-) Your job position (Maybe....A YOUTH COORDINATOR) in the church,
2-) The responsibilities and duties you carry out in the church and
3-) And that they will be looking forward to your return after studies to continue playing your role and active participation in selfless service, seminars and meetings etc...

It should be a page letter and must be concise and straight to the point.

Based on my observation from the past experience for online route Background check only last for 3-7 days.
